Danica Patrick Finally Wins Race by Winning Indy Japan 300

Indy car driver Danica Patrick finally won her first race and became the first women to ever win an IndyCar race at the Indy Japan 300.

“I knew there was a good reason for coming to Japan,” Patrick said. “I want to thank my team, the fans and everyone who supported me.”

“It’s a long time coming. Finally,” Patrick said. “I was managing to save fuel and keep the speed up and when I saw Helio I knew he was the one to beat.”

The 26-year-old Patrick won her first race in her 50th try.  Now that the seal has been broken look for Danica to have several more wins before her career is over.

Now Danica has something legit on her resume besides being a GoDaddy Girl.
