Katie Price to Star as Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
Katie Price is set to take on the role of Elvira Mistress of the Dark in a new Hollywood movie.
Producers of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, a remake of the classic 1988 film, are keen for Price to star in the role made famous by American actress Cassandra Peterson.
“It’s a very good time to be British in Hollywood and you can’t fail to notice Jordan - she knows how to shine,” an insider told the Daily Star. “Cassandra Peterson has been in talks about a remake for some time but didn’t want to take on the role again herself, even thought she still appears as Elvira.
“Everyone was at a loss until they spotted Jordan on a gossip website. She just looks perfect and then they discovered she has a penchant for one-liners. She will have to lose the tan, though. And Cassandra’s Elvira worked because of the mixture of her dark image and her Valley Girl wit - so Kate will have to learn an American accent.”
I used to love watching Elvira — Katie will not even remotely measure up.

Actaully, no…. Katie Price will not be starring as Elvira anytime soon. I asked Cassandra Peterson about this and her responce was ” there is no “Mistress of The Dark” remake in the works. And if there was, I’d be playing Elvira. I own that character and the rights to the movie.”
Another example of how the UK Press do nothing to confirm anything they write before they pulbish. Just another reason why the UK is miles behind the United States, at least WE have enough brains about us to make sure we don’t publish something as bogus as this crap. It’s not that hard to call up Cassandra Peterson’s company to confirm this. Just a pathetic attempt from Katie Price’s management to get her name in the papers. Very sad.
