Shania Twain and producer husband Mutt Lange are splitting after 14 years of marriage. Lange and Twain married after a very brief courtship back in 1993.

“Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage,” spokesman Jason Owen says in a statement. “This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.”

Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, married in 1993, just six months after meeting. They are parents to a 6-year-old son, Eja D’Angelo.

Inside word is that Mutt couldn’t deal any longer hearing Shania cry all night and long to be in my arms. Finally Shania you kicked that Mutt dog to the curb. I dubbed Shania the “perfect woman” back in 1998 and look forward to many happy years with the talented Canadian .

Now maybe Shania baby will move back to the States and find a new man this side of the AARP.
