Chicago Bulls Wins 2008 NBA Draft Lottery

The NBA’s Draft lottery to see who gets the #1 pick went to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night. The first two picks in the 2008 draft are likely to be Derrick Rose of the Memphis Tigers and Kansas State’s Michael Beasley.

Remember Rose grew up in Chicago and wore #23 for the Memphis Tigers during their NCAA run to the National Championship game. The Bulls would be very smart to draft Rose after several big man busts in the past decade including Tyson Chandler and Eddie Curry.

Here is a look at the results of the 2008 NBA Draft Lottery.

  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Miami Heat
  3. Minnesota Timberwolves
  4. Seattle Sonics
  5. Memphis Grizzlies
  6. New York Knicks
  7. Los Angeles Clippers
  8. Milwaukee Bucks
  9. Charlotte Bocats
  10. New Jersey Nets
  11. Indiana Pacers
  12. Sacramento Kings
  13. Portland Trailblazers
  14. Golden State Warriors
