Bye! Bye! Bye! Lou Pearlman Gets 25 Years in Slammer
Big fat Lou Pearlman, the man who founded N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, O-town and others, was sentenced to 25 years in jail on Tuesday for money laundering, conspiracy, making false statements and being an overall jerk for several years. He ran one of the biggest ponzi schemes.
Big Lou pleaded guilty back in March to a long, complicated con game that basically pumped up his net worth and cheated other people out of millions. The judge gave him the maximum sentence.
Lou had also run the con game with a modeling agency he tried to run.
