Vanessa Bryant Cusses Out ESPN Reporter Laura Lane
Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa is a bit of a hot head and shin skinned according to ESPN reporter Laura Lane. Vanessa Bryant went on a cussing and screaming spree against Lane after the Lakers-Spurs playoff game.
Laura reported that Vanessa singled her out near the Lakers’ locker room at the Lakers game. Vanessa screamed the F word at her. Her two Bryant daughters, aged 5 and 2, stared at their Mom as she mouthed some accusations against Laura Lane.
Vanessa did not like Laura writing about her, her daughters and their schedule. Other reporters told Laura that Vanessa was known to display anger at journalists. Laura wrote about her experience. She said that she did not answer any of Vanessa’s accusations.

Last night, I got cussed out by Vanessa Bryant. Seriously. At the Lakers game. In front of her kids. In front of the Lakers locker room. It was awesome. She is mad about an article I wrote where I mentioned her. That means one of two things - she either reads the ESPN blog or she has herself on Google alerts. Both are fantastic.
So as I’m walking out of the Lakers locker room after some post-game interviews with the players, I pass Vanessa, who is sitting outside the locker room as usual with her two girls.
“Laura!” she screams (yes, she apparently knows my name). “F— you! You f—ing b—-!”
Lane had posted the info on her Blogger blog, ‘Ride the Fast Lane’, that has now disappeared. I have a feeling the big heads at ESPN said delete the entire blog now or you will be checking Big Brown’s stall for poop at the Preakness Stakes next weekend.
One does have to feel a bit for Vanessa though. TheDirty.com’s report (and updated report)of Kobe’s most recent affair with a Laker cheerleader is likely weighing heavily on her mind. No telling if Kobe did cheat with the Laker skirt or not. If we see Kobe showing up to Game 4 with a brand new tattoo then we can assume he is guilty as charged.

the reporter was WAY out of line. She thought it was ok because it was HER blog. but she is a representive of ESPN. she also provided links on her blog to ESPN. the reporter has said NASTY comments about other athletes wives or girlfriends. Saying they need to go to college, also saying they need to get a job. She sounds very JEALOUS of these women. Maybe even resentful, that she had to go to college to become a reporter just so she have access to athletes, since her looks won’t land her in relationship with one. HATER….she should be FIRED !!
It would have been nice if she can slap the crap out of this reporter just on general principles. Kobe is the celebrity not Vanessa and her children so the woman should have kept her sports related comments on Kobe period.
I think this woman is a groupie posing as a reporter..on one of her blogs where she bad mouthed the baseball player’s girlfriend, it was because the girlfriend had called her and asked her about inappropriate text messages she saw on his phone coming from Laura Lane, this so called REPORTER !! She calls these women CRAZY BITCHES on her blog. if I were one of these women, I would have few choice words for her as well. If she did nothing wrong how come her blog is GONE. this didn’t start because of the article for ESPN MAG. This started because she will do the interview and write her article the correct way, but then she will go and talk pure trash about the athletes families. on her blog she talked about Vanessa didn’t control her kids. Like I said this woman is JEALOUS. she is a wanna be. a GROUPIE posing as a reporter. She is suppose to be sports writer..if she wants to report on gossip, go work for TMZ
Right there in front of her children….No surprise. Seems to me that basketball players and everyone associated with them are just trashy. In fact, it is turning that way with most sports these days. Even if the reporter should not be writing these things, there are better ways to handle it, not talking that way in front of your children. Common sense is just dead.
