Fashion house Christian Dior has canned all of Sharon Stone’s Dior advertisements in China in the wake of her ridiculously stupid remarks regarding the victims of the recent China earthquake.

Sharon Stone has been dropped from Christian Dior’s Chinese advertisements after the actress claimed the country’s devastating earthquake may have been the result of bad karma over its treatment of Tibet.

The French fashion house acted even though Stone issued a grovelling apology for the comments.

The 50-year-old actress said she was “deeply sorry” for causing anguish and anger among Chinese people with her remarks in an interview last week.

Two things sorely stick out to me about this. One obvious and hte other not as obvious:

1. Karma - Karma is basically ’cause and effect’ which seems even more appropriate with Dior canning Stone after her idiotic and inhumane comments. Perhaps Stone is just psychic about the karma she knew would be coming her way for her comments.
2. Hypocrisy - Funny that Stone is lining her pockets with gold while pimping herself all throughout China for Christian Dior and probably other companies as well. If you truly believe that the government of China is so horrible then don’t be so two faced by getting rich off of the people of the country.

Here is what Stone said to TMZ that made her look ignorant and stupid.

“I’m not happy with the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans. I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else … and I’m wondering how should we deal with the Olympics because of they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who’s a good friend of mine,” Stone said in the TMZ video. “And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened and I thought, ‘Is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?’”

I know Stone claims she has an IQ of 150+ and is in Mensa but that doesn’t always correlate to common sense or humanity.
