Jennifer Butler Murray has filed for divorce from husband/actor Bill Murray. She claims he is addicted to alcohol, marijuana, women, and slapping her around the house.

The wife of entertainer Bill Murray has filed for divorce after nearly 11 years of marriage, alleging he abused her and is addicted to marijuana and alcohol.

Jennifer Butler Murray filed divorce papers May 12 in Charleston County. She owns a home on Sullivans Island, S.C., where she lives with the couple’s four children.

Butler also cites in her petition to the court that Murray physically abused her.

It also alleges Murray physically abused his wife and last November “hit her in the face and then told her she was `lucky he didn’t kill her.”‘

Murray has starred in such classics as Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day and won an Oscar for his role in Lost in Translation.

Jennifer is set to receive $7 million dollars per the pre-nup the couple signed before the wedding back in 1997.
