Song Tracklist for ‘Rock Band’ Video Game

Rock Band Logo

I posted earlier today about the September release date for ‘Rock Band 2.’  I thought some of you might want to see the song list of all of the songs included in the original ‘Rock Band’ along with the songs that can be downloaded for play on RB.

Aerosmith’s ‘Train Kept a Rollin’ and Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ are the two most challenging games I have come across so far on the game.

‘Rock Band 2′ Set for September Release

Rock Band Video Game Cover

Fans of the popular ‘Rock Band’ series can start to get excited as the second version of the music video game will be released later this year in September. ‘Rock Band 2′ will be compatible with the previous release and is destined to be a mega-seller.

This “Rock Band” sequel is a departure from recent music game sequels and spin-offs, including entries in the competing “Guitar Hero” franchise, which do not always sync up to the originals. For example, the new “Guitar Hero: Aerosmith” coming out this week does not work with downloadable content marked for “Guitar Hero III,” according to a report on gaming blog Joystiq.

“Rock Band 2,” goes the other way, as it appears to be set to work smoothly with its predecessor. In fact, it has been announced to be so compatible with the first game’s music and instruments that an IGN reporter who was interviewing the sequel’s lead designer Dan Teasdale was compelled to ask why owners of the first game would feel the need to buy the second game.

” ‘Rock Band 2′ takes all the lessons we’ve learned from making a multi-instrument music game, addresses them, then adds some amazing new ways for you to experience your music library that have never been seen in a music game before,” Teasdale told IGN.

This game is an addiction that keeps me up way too deep into the night. I received the game for Father’s Day and my sleep has suffered since I started playing RB. The game makes even the most untalented person (see me) feel like they are jamming and thrashing to some of the best metal/rock songs of all-time.

I am already awaiting for RB2.  I still have plenty of songs to unlock and levels to reach before September.  The game comes with a microphone, guitar, drum set and the actual video game.  I bought an additional guitar that can double as a bass so four people can play at the same time.

Have you played?  If so drop a comment with your thoughts about ‘Rock Band’.

Ben Affleck Snapped Buying Magazines at LAX

Ben Affleck at LAX in Los Angeles

Bumpshack friend Monica Monroe sent in these photos she snagged of Ben Affleck buying magazines at LAX airport in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Monroe told me that Ben was gracious, polite, very hot and bought $33 bucks worth of magazines.  She said he didn’t purchase any gossip magazines but instead opted for “smart” magazines.

The cause of death was blunt impact injuries, says the ME. Ruslana Korshunova’s body was found on Water Street in the financial district on Saturday afternoon.

Sadly her decision to take her life was probably due to drugs or the stresses that the modeling industry puts on a woman’s body and mind.

Floyd Landis Loses Appeal to Keep Tour Title

Floyd Landis Denied Tour Win

Cyclist Floyd Landis has lost his last appeal and chance to regain and keep the 2007 Tour de France title that he won then forfeited after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

A three-person panel at the Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld a previous panel’s decision, ruling his positive doping test during the Tour two years ago was, indeed, valid. Landis also must pay $100,000 toward the legal fees of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

In its 58-page decision, the CAS panel said the lab that analyzed Landis’ positive test results used some “less than ideal laboratory practices, but not lies, fraud, forgery or cover-ups,” the way the Landis camp had alleged.

Cycling is one of the dirtiest sports in the world.  Shame on Floyd for cheating, but he just didn’t get away with it like most of the other riders do.

Jennifer Aniston the Mayer Groupie

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer

Actress Jennifer Aniston continues her pursuit of rock boyfriend John Mayer.  The aging actress was backstage at two consecutive shows of Mayer over the weekend in London.

But the actress wasn’t just there to lend moral support: wearing a black-and-white floral halter-neck top and faded flared jeans, Aniston busily snapped away with her camera to record Mayer’s on-stage performance.

It was the second time in two days that Aniston had joined Mayer for one of his gigs. On Friday, she took a seat in the upper level of the gritty south London venue, the Brixton Academy, before leaving with Mayer at around 11:30 p.m.

Mayer has been using Aniston, the latest in his line of celebrity hookups, for several weeks now.  The two were first spotted as a couple in Miami last month.

Spencer Pratt Slams Mary-Kate Olsen

Spencer Pratt the Hollywood Bad Boy

Pseudo celebrity Spencer Pratt took some rather funny and amusing jabs at Mary-Kate Olsen after her bashing of him on David Letterman’s show.  Olsen told Dave that Pratt, who played soccer in high school, had a bad attitude while playing.

“I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see,” he told Usmagazine.com Friday. “She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me.”

“I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman,” Pratt told Us.

“I forgive her, though,” he added. “She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

This celebrity feud (if you can call it that) is just dandy.  It kind makes the whole 2 Pac - Biggie feud from the 90’s look like a mustard seed.

Movies Opening Today (June 27, 2008)

Movies: WALL-E

WALL-E - (G) What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? Wall-E, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for, as he adventures across the galaxy chasing his dream.

Wanted - (R) 25-year-old Wes was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox. After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutors–including the Fraternity’s enigmatic leader, Sloan–Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny.

Finding Amanda - (R) Taylor Peters is a television writer and producer working on a low-rated, little-respected half-hour sitcom. Taylor was probably destined for better things, but his compulsive gambling, recreational drug use and drinking problem (now under control) all conspired to throw his career off the rails several years back. Now all he does is play the horses, but does his best to keep his wife Lorraine in the dark about it. Unexpectedly, Taylor and Lorraine are called to Lorraine’s sister’s house to deal with a family emergency: Taylor’s twenty-year-old niece Amanda is living in Las Vegas where, it’s been recently discovered, she’s working as a prostitute. On their way home, Lorraine finds racing stubs in the glove compartment, and decides to leave Taylor. Lorraine decides not to come home. Taylor comes up with a plan: he’ll win back his wife’s affections and trust by going to Las Vegas, finding Amanda and delivering her to rehab in Malibu. And while he’s there, he vows, he won’t gamble a cent. Alas, the best laid plans.

Gunnin’ for That #1 Spot - (PG-13) Directed by Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, the documentary follows eight of the country’s premiere high school basketball players as they play on the worldâ¿¿s most famous outdoor court: Rucker Park in Harlem–a place where nicknames are branded and legends are made. Blending this next generation of b-ball players with a mix of raw hip-hop, jazz and break beats gives a kinetic look at soon-to-be NBA All Stars.

Trumbo - (PG-13) Screenwriter Dalton Trumbo’s remarkable journey from Hollywood royalty to blacklisted writer to Academy Award winner is told through the writer’s own indelible words. Combined are performances of some of his extraordinary letters, clips from his films and archival and contemporary interviews with those who knew him best, which illustrate how one man’s unerring belief in the First Amendment and the power of the written word–plus a drink or two–empowered him to fight back after being blacklisted by HUAC.

Uma Thurman Engaged to Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson

Actress Uma Thurman is engaged to multi-millionaire Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson.  The two met at private dinner last year in Italy.

In return for saying yes, the actress received some serious sparkle: an 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones. “It’s the most beautiful piece I’ve ever seen,” says a close source of the diamond ring. “Arki did a wonderful job.”

The pair began dating last summer after attending a private dinner together in Milan. Since then, their relationship quickly heated up despite the fact that the couple lived on different continents (she is based in New York, he in London).

It is the third marriage for Thurman.  She is coming off a divorce from actor Ethan Hawke.

O.J. Mayo Traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Kevin Love

O.J. Mayo Traded to Memphis Grizzlies for Kevin Love

After the conclusion of the 2008 NBA Draft on Thursday night the Memphis Grizzlies secured a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves that sent USC sensation O.J. Mayo to the Grizz in an eight player trade.  Mayo was selected earlier in the night as the third pick by the Wolves.  In return they received pick #5 Kevin Love along with shooting guard Mike Miller.

Here is a look at all eight players trading places in this mega deal:

The Grizzlies, who selected UCLA’s Kevin Love with the fifth pick, were completing a deal late Thursday night that will bring them Mayo (taken third by Minnesota), Antoine Walker, Marko Jaric and Greg Buckner for Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

The Grizzlies also traded their second first round pick Donte’ Green to the Portland Trailblazers for Kansas forward Darrell Arthur (drafted 27th).

In a separate transaction, the Griz shipped their 28th pick (Syracuse’s Donte Greene) plus a 2009 second-round pick to Portland for the draft rights to the 27th pick, Darrell Arthur.

The addition of Mayo will give the Grizzlies star power and Arthur should give them a strong presence on the blocks at power foward.

The Grizzlies took some chances tonight which surprised a lot of people.  I hate to see Miller go but the trade will likely be very good for Memphis in the long run.

Derrick Rose went #1 tonight to the Chicago Bulls. He was followed in the top five by Michael Beasley, O.J. Mayo, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love. Darrell Arthur fell all the way down to the 27th pick due to rumors of a mysterious kidney ailment. Deandre Jordan, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Mario Chalmers fell into the second round.

CBS Correspondent Lara Logan’s Sex Scandals Are Global

Lara Logan Really Likes Sex

CBS Foreign News Correspondent Lara Logan (often misspelled Laura) has been named as the ‘other woman’ in the hotly contested divorce between Texans Joe and Kimberly Burkett. Logan’s affair with Burkett led Kimberly to a Valium overdose on her way to divorcing Joe.

Burkett’s wife Kimberly, 32, was so distraught with his cheating that she took an overdose of Valium

Kimberly Burkett’s attorney Susie Chmielowiec told The ENQUIRER, “Kimberly believes Lara stole her husband – and now they’re trying to steal her little girl.”

And it gets even better for the loose thighed Logan and her sexual desires.

And in a twist that’s as shocking as any story Lara has covered, sources are charging she also had another affair, and her two lovers got into a brutal battle over her in Baghdad!

Sources charge that the Emmy Winning Logan began her affair with 36-year-old U.S. State Department contractor, Burkett in war-torn Baghdad.

And yet another scandal brews in the steamy mix: Lara’s reported romance with a star CNN correspondent – whose jealousy exploded in a battle royal with Burkett in a Baghdad “safe house.”

Does anyone else feel Hugh Hefner and his ‘Playboy’ mafia are putting an offer together for Logan?

Logan, 37, was born in South Africa and according to Wikipedia is still married to basketball player Jason Siemon.

Pitcher Shawn Chacon Chokes Astros GM Ed Wade

Shawn Chacon in Happier Days

Houston Astros pitcher Shawn Chacon (above i happier days) finally put Latrell Sprewell back in the news.  Chacon went all Sprewell on Astros GM Ed Wade as he was trying to talk to Chacon about his bad pitching when Chacon grabbed Wade by the neck, choked him, and slung him to the floor.

Wade had the nerve to suggest — a tad indelicately, perhaps — that Chacon take a good look in the mirror.

Well, no wonder Chacon couldn’t stand there calmly and take that.

If you were Shawn Anthony Chacon, and you’d pitched your way into a demotion on a pitching-starved team, and you’d somehow developed a misguided sense of entitlement that caused you to think you deserved the job security of a Supreme Court justice, would you really want to look yourself in the mirror?

Chacon was totally out of line and should be punished rightfully so, but I believe he did what many Astros fans have wanted to do to Wade as well.  His moves at GM have left many wondering if MLB should institute drug testing among their General Managers.

When are these authority figures in sports going to realize that you can’t have ‘talks’ with any athlete making over $2 million dollars a year.  If you do, you are imperiling your safety and health.

To be fair Chacon is 2-3 with a 5.04 ERA this year and is about to be blackballed.  Sadly Ed Wade will be on the same list but his absence from baseball will be strictly work related.

Police Stop Madam Christine Morteh’s Brothel Bus

Give Christine Morteh points for creativity and uniqueness.  Morteh was arrested in Miami on Sunday and charged with several counts in relations to prostitution as well as operating a business without a license.

Morteh owned and operated a big tour bus that she was driving around to all parts of the city. Madam Morteh and her brothel of women were giving lap dances and sexual treats for ‘Green Benjies.’

Undercover Miami Beach detectives Sunday busted a brothel-on-wheels, which charged $40 admission and offered sex for sale inside.

On board: prostitutes, fully stocked bars and the bus’ madame — Christine Morteh, 29, of Miramar.

Cops have charged Morteh with engaging in, directing others to and deriving support from prostitution, as well as operating a business without license.

She was held Tuesday on $5,000 bond, which she has since posted.

But the bus — a sleek, black conversion vehicle that has the cab of a tractor trailer — is no longer in service.

Cops have it locked up, seizing it as evidence, said Detective Juan Sanchez, a Miami Beach police spokesman.

Customers would reportedly pay $40 just to get on the bus, then $20 for a lap dance, and if they wanted to go behind the curtained VIP section for oral sex that would cost another $100 bucks.  So for a total of $160 dollars you would get an alcoholic drink, lap dance and blow job.  Almost as cheap as going to the movies….and let me tell you the fourth Indiana Jones really sucked.

Madam Morteh did it all first class and was probably making a killing especially with $40 admission.  I could be wrong but I would look for Morteh to end up on the next version of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice.

‘Hooker on Wheels’  will be this woman’s nickname for life.  It would also make a great name for a hard rock band or Heidi Fleiss in a nursing home one day..

Donna Fitzgerald Raped and Killed by Inmate

Florida female Corrections Officer Donna Fitzgerald was raped and killed by inmate Enoch Hall.  Fitzgerald was on time at the time of the crime.  Hall has a history of rape and abduction.

Investigators with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are interviewing inmate Enoch Hall, 39, in the murder of Officer Donna Fitzgerald, a 13-year veteran of the Tomoka Correctional Institution.

Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said that Fitzgerald, 51, of Port Orange, was attacked at 7:30 p.m. An agency report shows the corrections officer was on duty at the time of the attack. FDLE and Corrections officials declined from releasing additional details on the murder and the investigation.

Hall was already serving two life sentences for sexual battery of a weapon and kidnapping.

Keep women away from this notoriously bad inmates with histories of sexual abuse, battery or murder.
