Guitar Legend Bo Diddley Dies

Guitar legend Bo Diddley died in his Florida home today at the age of 79-years old. He rose to fame with the songs “Bo Diddley” and “I’m a Man” in 1954/5.
He had suffered a heart attack in August 2007, three months after suffering a stroke which affected his ability to speak.
The legendary singer and performer was known for his homemade square guitar, dark glasses and black hat.
Bo enjoyed a rebirth in the 90’s with Bo Jackson’s popular Nike ‘Bo Knows’ commercials.
He was born as Ellas Otha Bates and was nicknamed ‘The Originator.’
