Rush Limbaugh Inks $400 Million Dollar Deal

Rush Limbaugh Covers ‘New York Times Magazine’

Rush Limbaugh might take a beating  from Democrats and even some Republicans but Rush seems to always get the last laugh, or dollar.  Rush has inked a new deal with Clear Channel and Premiere Radio that will pay him over $400 million dollars through the year 2016.

Limbaugh’s total package is valued north of $400 million, according to media insiders.

In its controversial profile, the TIMES reports that Limbaugh is buying a new G550 jet and is making an estimated $38 million a year.

While newspapers and traditional broadcast media are experiencing declining revenues, Limbaugh’s golden microphone has turned diamond-laced:

Earnings now pace him ahead of the annual salaries for network news anchors: Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer — combined!

Love him or hate him, the conservative Rush has been a pioneer for news talk radio.  Limbaugh was one of the very first and here twenty years later he remains the most listened to and by far the best paid news man in America.
