Timothy Wright Seriously Injured in Car Wreck
Gospel singer/pastor Rev. Timothy Wright was Friday in Pennsylvania. His wife, Betty Wright, was killed in the crash. His grandson D.J. Wright was critically injured as well.
The accident was caused by a driver going the wrong way on the interstate.
State police say 58-year-old Betty Wright of Roosevelt, N.Y., died in the crash late Friday on Interstate 80 eastbound in Clinton County.
A Geisinger Medical Center spokesman says her husband, the Rev. Timothy Wright, and their grandson, 14-year-old D.J. Wright, remain critically injured.
Wright has been involved in several gospel choirs and has released numerous albums in the past decade. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Wright family.
