Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto is the latest beauty queen to find herself in hot water. Umemoto is catching heat for flipping the bird for a photo while wearing her Miss Washington crown.

Umemoto, who competed for the Miss America title this year and was second runner-up, isn’t really doing anything all that controversial but wearing the crown in the pictures is just plain stupid.

The Miss Washington Executive Field Director Mike Miller released a statement saying the organization is “embarrassed” by Umemoto’s actions and then goes on and on about some crap that I stopped reading after he started paraphrasing Shakesphere.

I am excited! It has been way too many months since a pageant girl did something stupid. Maybe this will start a strong streak of pageant girls gone wild.
