Reports out of New York are indicating that Peter Cook and Christie Brinkley have reached a settlement in their nasty divorce case.

A source told The Post that custody, the main obstacle to a settlement, will remain as is.

Current arrangement allows Cook to see his children, Jack, 10, and Sailor, 13, every Wednesday and on alternating weekends, as well as additional time during the summer.

Sources also said that Cook conceded substantial ground in the asset portion of the trial in order to bring the ordeal to an end.

The settlement prevents further damaging testimony that likely would have done damage to the their children.

Brinkley seems to have won this nasty battle but there are truly no winners from this ugly battle royale.
