Conservative columnist Robert ‘Bob’ Novak has been diagnosed with a brain tumor according to a statement he has released.

Novak issued a statement Monday saying the tumor was found Sunday after he’d been rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital from Cape Cod, where he was visiting his daughter.

Novak had a very rough week. Earlier last week he ran into a pedestrian in D.C., that was crossing the street, while behind the wheel of his black corvette.

He is being treated and held at a Boston hospital.
