Extremely troubled British singer Amy Winehouse was rushed to the E.R. late Monday evening after a suspected drug overdose according to The Daily Mail.

The singer was seen being wheeled out of her north London home just after 8.40pm this evening by paramedics, as her beleaguered father Mitch Winehouse watched.

Paramedics were called by father Mitch after Amy reportedly suffered an episode of ‘fitting’.

Winehouses’s camp is naturally spinning her latest hospital visit in the most positive light.

Her spokesman Chris Goodman said in a statement: ‘Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to hospital.’

Amy  was taken to the accident and emergency department of UCH where she has been admitted.

Sadly, Amy won’t be with us much longer absent a miracle intervention.  The human body can’t take what she continues to administer to it.  She has already been diagnosed with emphysema and her heavy drug use is wearing out her organs.
