OMG that makes McCain look ridiculous!
Cool. Another republican who thinks we independent voters are idiots.
LMAO! I love it.
I wonder how much the McCain camp paid to use those images. Well, really not, but I had to find something interesting about this otherwise dumb ad campaign.
Yeah…. Obama is definitely the biggest celebrity in the world. Give me a freaking break.
McCain is the stereotypical delusion old man. McPain grow up you ignorant fool. Even Bush would make a better president than you and I HATE Bush.
$OBAMA 08$
I really don’t see what the big deal is. We know what kind of world we live in especially what POLITICAL world. This kind of “propaganda” is only going to get worse because our government is so possesive and trivial.
I hope Obama waits and waits to pull out the can of Whup a** on the fascists. I hope he does it and responds to these things like Dukakis and Kerry failed to do. If you want to be president, Barack,
you must scream back at these allegations, and put these fakers in their place. Taking the high road here is a recipe for failure.
Actually folks, Senator Obama has been playing the ‘Camelot’ card for the past three years. Anyone remember the guy at the 2004 Dem Convention who emphatically stated that he wouldn’t cosider running for president in ‘08?
Obama has spent a lot of time apologizing to the world for the ugly American. The Germans love him and call him ‘47′. His ‘Tour of Duty’ - and as a veteran, I can’t begin to tell you how much I resent the hubris - was orchestrated to a pitch not seen since the last Rolling Stones World Tour.
And what exactly has this freshman senator accomplished? Nothing. He hasn’t introduced any legislation of merit - though he has showboated his way onto several juicy bills, skunking his fellow legislators in the process. I don’t recall the bill, but Time reported on a Kennedy bill that he co-opted at a press conference several months ago.
And lets look at his platform. The only thing he has trotted out with any detail are prohibitively expensive and will devastate the middle class. He isn’t targeting the ‘idle rich’ - he will be targetting the school teacher, the cop, the middle level executive, the small businessman. Tax this class out of existence and the utopia we will have will be similiar to Chairman Mao’s or Stalin’s. Nice. This country was made great by men and women seeking opportunity, working hard, earning wealth, and keeping what they earned. You want more? Work for it. This is the only country in the world where a person can immigrate with nothing and die a millionaire. THere is no law - yet - that prohibits a person from realizing their dreams. If Mr. Obama’s wealth redistribution plan succeeds, we are in trouble.
Senator Obama has used his unprecedented campaign warchest to buy media coverage that has gone beyond bordering on the obscene. You might recall that this is the guy who challenged the Democratic primary candidated to commit to public financing. Or am I the only guy who remembers this? Guess so.
McCain is no prize, but Heaven knows he is preferable to the alternative. He brings experience, a proven track record of recognizing important issues and pushing them forward. He has crossed the aisle more than once to promote legislation, alienating his own party. Why? He believed it was the right thing to do.
I think that this ad is silly, but so is the American electorate. I also am amused at the Obama machine throwing the typical racist card out there - and a stretch it is…kudos to the creative minds in Obama spin control. What is McCain saying? He is saying that this ad is silly. And so is the ‘media darling’ love affair that the press is lauding on Senator Obama. Honestly, what has he done to deserve this? Where is the service to the nation? Where is the experience on a national level? Where is the track record of legislation? His biggest claim to fame was standing firm in his opposition to Iraq. And it looks like the ‘Surge’ worked. Gee, go figure.
But I am likely wasting my time here - doesn’t seem as if anyone has any legitimate, well-reasoned posts arguing from a position more sophistivated then the jaded and stale puns…McPain? That was old in 2000. Ah, I teach high school history so I am used to playing Don Quixote……..

Gee, John, I’m sure your history class is fun. I bet you talk all about those great white men seeking the opportunity of slavery, genocide against the native peoples and refusing to allow women to even vote until 1920. All events I’m sure you and John McCain remember with great fondness. America was built on exploitation just like any other country and people like you, the noble Don Quixote (who was an idiotic Spanish aristocrat), can’t stand the fact that your system still exploits the vast majority of people to the benefit of the rich. Tell me, John, what exactly did George Bush work so hard for at Arbusto? Did he work harder than the illegal immigrants that picked his lettuce and are now to be rousted out of the country at gunpoint by the likes of you and your Minutemen? As for Obama being a celebrity and media darling, I didn’t hear your kind complain about that when the bad actor and even worse president Ronald Reagan had no better record and used the media to get elected. Oh, sorry, I forgot his “experience” rounding up Communists in Hollywood for Joseph McCarthy, but as a history teacher, I’m sure *you* didn’t forget, just never told your students.
Tell me, John, did McCain “reach across the aisle” when George Bush stole the 2000 election? Or got us into Iraq? Or passed the Patriot Act to take away our civil liberties? Those were all bipartisan efforts he voted for as were numerous energy and farm bills that got us into this mess by supporting Exxon, Conoco, BP, ADM, Cargill and ConAgra rather than sane energy research and small farmers. And I’m glad the surge worked. Can we say “Mission Accomplished” and go home. Again. Or should we still be there looking for weapons of mass destruction minutes away from use that surely must be hidden somewhere. Heh! Now I understand why Dick Cheney’s colonoscopy is classified as top secret…
To echo your comment, Obama is not someone I support. He is way too conservative for my tastes. Faith-based initiatives my ass. But I’ll take a half-black, charismatic, flawed leader that has at least experienced racism and the gritty side of American life to try and tackle the problems we face to your leader and your attitude of “the reason you are poor is because you don’t work hard enough.”
But I’m likely wasting my time with you as well. You see, I’m a white, rural history teacher and I have to tilt the windmills of old, conservative, “I know what history is” teachers and administrators that get upset when I depart from the great old dead white men version of history.
The messed up thing about this is that Britneys parents AND Paris’s parents BOTH paid to support John McCain with his campaign.
Even though he did a shitty thing,Im still voting for him.
Sorry but Obama wants to give illegal imigrants DRIVERS LICENSES!! And allow more of them into our country?? Hell no. Why not just make Mexico a state then?
And then theres the fact that he’s basically going to be another John F. Kennedy with the Missile Crises because he is so young and gives the impression of a pushover!
