Victoria Osteen Sued by Flight Attendant
Televangelist Joel Osteen’s wife Victoria Osteen has been sued by a flight attendant over an incident that took place on a Continental Airlines flight two years ago. Victoria allegedly lost her cool when attendant Sandra Brown didn’t respond to her desire to have a spill cleaned off of her first class seat.
The lawsuit, filed in Harris County Civil Court in Houston, alleges that Victoria Osteen “shoved, grabbed and pulled the flight attendants.” The suit goes on to claim that Osteen elbowed Brown, who was the flight manager, while allegedly trying to get into the cockpit of the airplane.
Well, I think it’s safe to say Joel will have something ‘positive’ to say about this! It does sound like a money hungry flight attendant trying to milk the cash cow.

I’ve met Victoria and she seemed like a nice person. Interesting to note that the flight attendant had previously filed a complaint that she was attacked by a co-worker. I’d better check WebMD to see how an elbow in the breast can lead anxiety and hemorrhoids.

If you are in a service related industry, and your customers attack you, wouldn’t you be anxious as well? As to the hemorroids, it leads to the body’s response to the anxiety. Her digestive system would have been out of whack, causing constipation, and as a result, the ‘roids…
As to the assault itself, I have never seen Mrs. Osteen deny it, just downplay it. The flight attendant, Ms. Brown, had had reconstrutive surgery on her breat area as the result of illness. So striking that area would have caused a great deal of pain…
Did Mrs. Osteen have a chance to keep this a molehill? Oh yeah…but her lack of humility will cause damage to her, her husband, her ministry, and the faithful everywhere…why? Because we are not judged by the humble around us, but rather the proud and boastful…
Victoria Osteen is a great person and has a wonderful heart. She is obviously human and the media obviously biased. Its amazing how the hateful are at a constant vigilance to find error in people who are mostly good. Their self righteousness stink and they cannot smell it.

yes nobody is perfect, but the entire Christian world is effected by this wittiness. we are whether in the “public eye” like Mrs. Osteen or in our own neighborhoods we are all called to be witness’ for Jesus and we are all in the eye of the public around us. The world is watching all of us and her behavior is a reflection of who she is, what she believes. death to self, putting others above ourselves, that is also a part of our Christian walk, that all may know Jesus through our example. Yes its not her “job” to clean up a mess but how much better off would the Kingdom of God be today if she had just at the most submitted to the ill treatment well and at the least cleaned up the mess and reported the “ill” treatment after the fact? That is what bugs me, as a Christian its not about us, but Gods Glory. How is God Glorified in this mess, I just think Christians are missing the point. WHere is the humility, the placing others above self? this family was going to a wonderful vacation for the holidays, couldn’t she afford some mercy towards the flight attendant ?

I’ve attended service at their church when traveling through (I’m from NV). I think it’s all about the mighty buck. Let’s not forget that the person suing Mrs. Osteen also claimed that she was attacked by a co-worker a couple of years ago. You know what, it is what it is and everything works the way it works. JLU
