I just wanted to announce and invite everyone to join me here Saturday night as I will be in person and live blogging the National Leadership Civil Forum hosted by Rick Warren at Saddleback Church between Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama.

All questions will be asked by Pastor Warren during the event. Warren will ask each candidate individually questions covering a large range of issues including but not limited to religion. Warren has stated to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that his goal is to have each candidate express his beliefs without being interrupted by the other. Obama and McCain will appear together on stage at the start of the forum before going one-on-one with Warren while the other candidate awaits backstage.

Warren is the pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. His congregation consists of 22,000 members that attend multiple services on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Rick is best known for his international best selling book, The Purpose Driven Life, which has sold millions of copies and transformed thousands of lives across the globe.

Bumpshack will have a full team at Saddleback on Saturday night to cover the event. We plan to have our own video coverage of the event on Bumpshack the day after the event.
