World’s Tallest Woman Sandy Allen Dies at 53
Sandy Allen who stood 7’7 1/4″ inches tall has died at the young age of 53. She was the world’s tallest woman. Allen passed away at a nursing home in Shelbyville, Indiana early this morning.
Allen, 53, passed away at 2:55 a.m., according to a spokesperson at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services. At 7-foot-7 1/4, she was recognized by Guiness World Records and the world’s tallest woman.
When humans are abnormally tall it is very hard on their organs and immune system. The tallest people in the history of the world have almost always passed away at a young age. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Sandy.
