Actress Nicollette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton have ended their engagement according to Sheridan’s representative.
“Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement,” said Nicole Perna. “They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.”
The couple’s relationship originally started in 1992, and lasted for five years.
The couple had been dating steady since 2005. They announced their engagement in December of 2006.
Sheridan was previously married to actor Harry Hamlin. Bolton has three daughters from his fifteen year marriage to Maureen McGuire.
All’s well that ends well. A nearly three year engagement for a couple in their late 40′s sends up enough red flags that either one or both party has serious reservations.

Jennifer Aniston arrived at Madeo in Hollywood for dinner with Woody Allen last night. Mrs. Pitt Aniston was wearing a ring on her wedding finger (closeups below). I doubt anyone in the past week, since her breakup with John Mayer, has swooped in to offer her bridesmaids for a second time.
So what’s up with the ring? The safe bet is that she wore it in an attempt to keep Woody off of her. But then again she is about 25 years too old for Allen’s pedophiliac taste.

Former NBA All-Star Wayman Tisdale had part of his right leg amputated on Monday due to bone cancer. Tisdale had several procedures done on the leg after breaking his kneecap last year and discovering a cancerous cyst below his knee.
On his Web site, Tisdale said removing a portion of the leg would be the best way to ensure that the cancer would not return.
“This may sound drastic, but I have put it in God’s hands and now have peace, knowing that this is the best way to put this disease in check,” he said. “I have complete faith that with the Lord’s blessings this surgery will eliminate the cancer from my body and I’ll soon be back on the road doing what I do best.”
All went well according to Wayman’s wife Regina.
“Everything went well,” she said.
The 44-year old Tisdale is won a gold medal at the 1984 Olympics and is also an accomplished musician. Him and his wife have four children.
Tisdale played 12 seasons in the NBA for the Pacers, Kings and Suns. In college he was a three-time All-American at the University of Oklahoma.
Wayman has always been at athlete known for his faith in Jesus Christ. I know his faith will get him and Regina get through this. I am hoping for a safe recovery and good health for Wayman.

Anthony Young, Jr., the son of hip-hop pioneer Dr. Dre, was found dead by his mother on Saturday morning in Woodland Hills, California. Young was 20-years old.
The Los Angeles County Coroner reported today that the son of hip hop record producer and rapper Dr. Dre has died. Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.
Young was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M., according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M., found him unresponsive, and called 911. He was 20 years of age.
No cause of death has yet to be given. It is likely pending upon the toxicology report.
Former Portland Trailblazers star Kevin Duckworth is dead at the age of 44-years old. He was in Oregon to help promote the Blazers. The cause of Duckworth’s death has yet to be determined.
Kevin Duckworth, a two-time All-Star who was the starting center on the Portland Trail Blazer teams that made it to the 1990 and 1992 NBA Finals, has died of unknown causes.
The seven-foot center played in the NBA from 1986-1997. Most of those years he was in Portland, although at the end of his career he played for the Bullets, Bucks, and Clippers.
Duckworth was a two-time all-star and is the 10th leading scorer in Blazers history.
’100 Things to Do Before You Die’ co-author Dave Freeman died in his Venice home last week when he fell and hit his head. Freeman was 47-years old.
Freeman died Aug. 17 after falling and hitting his head at his home in Venice, said his father, Roy.
Published in 1999, “100 Things” was one of the first contemporary books to create a travel agenda based on 100 sites and then market it with a title that reminded mortal readers that time was limited.
The “100 Things” approach later swept the publishing industry, said Neil Teplica, who wrote the book with Freeman.
The title meant “you should live every day like it would be your last, and there’s not that many people who do,” Teplica told The Times. “It’s a credit to Dave — he didn’t have enough days, but he lived them like he should have.”
Freeman is survived by his father, stepmother, aunt and sister.
