The legendary Paul Newman died earlier today in Westport, Connecticut.  The actor was great in every role he performed, but he was exceptionally well in The Color of Money, The Towering Inferno, Cool Hand Luke, Message In a Bottle, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and The Hustler.

Newman donated over $250 million dollars to charity during his lifetime from his signature line of salad dressings.

I think everyone should go out this week and buy one of Newman’s salad dressings in his honor.  All proceeds minus taxes have gone to charities since he started the company back in 1982.  It would be a great way to honor all he has done for those in need.
