Eddie Van Halen has proposed to his personal assistant Janie Liszewski in Hawaii over the weekend and she said yes.  The two are engaged to wed but no wedding date has been set just yet.

Eddie, 53, was previously married to Valerie Bertinelli for 16 years and has a son, Wolfgang, and this will be the first marriage for the 38 year old Liszewski.  No details about when or where the wedding will take place have been released.

Congrats to Eddie and Janie!  I am sure Valerie has a few opinions about the engagement.
