Anne Pressly, a news anchor for KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas, was found in her bedroom with life threatening wounds.  She was discovered by her mother.  The wounds were gruesome and likely from a knife or sharp object.

Pressly was discovered the morning by her mother after she failed to respond to her usual wake up call.  At this time there are no suspects in the case, but police are suspecting the attack took place during a robbery since her purse was not located in the house.  She has been transferred to the hospital and updates on her condition can be found at te KATV website.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Anne and her family.  Hopefully she can survive and make a full recovery.  This sadly reminds me of the attractive reporter in ‘A Time to Kill’ who was severely beat up by the Klan and ended up in the hospital.
