The couple that the world fell in love with on The Notebook have split up again. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams reunited earlier this year, but have apparently split up again.

“He dumped her. Rachel is too controlling,” a catty snitch finger-points to the magazine, but another source says, “They broke up the first time because of their busy schedules — and that’s the problem again.”

Gosling, for his part, isn’t lying low. People spotted him working the turntables during his regular DJ gig at the Los Angeles club Bardot, where he caught up with some buddies and sang along to ditties ranging from Madonna to Bell Biv DeVoe‘s “Poison.”

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it would be nice if one Hollywood couple could go the distance.
