Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes celebrate today their 2nd anniversary! Katie Holmes is still alive even if some might argue that being programmed as the perfect Stepford Wife isn’t exactly a form of life.

TomKat were married at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy, in a Scientology ceremony on November 18, 2006. Their cute little spoiled brat, Suri Cruise, was born on April 18, 2006 reportedly exactly a year from the date they first met, when Katie Holmes had an audition for the movie Mission: Impossible III.

They had a beautiful love story, according to them it was love at first sight:

Katie flew from NY to LA to audition for a possible role in the Tom Cruise movie, Mission: Impossible III However, after she met Tom, the movie became the farthest thing from her mind. “The chemistry between us was instantaneous,” she later explained. “If ever there was love at first sight, that was it. Tom was the most lethally attractive man I have ever met.”

His intellect, his drive, his sense of humor… his good looks - Katie said she was bowled over by all of it.
