“Twilight” was a success making $70.5 million in its opening weekend. There was a lot of buzz about this movie but it was meant for a younger audience and you never know what could happen. Well, never underestimate the power of teenage girls, who made their boyfriends, friends and family watch the vampire romance this weekend.

Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) sent a thank you note to their fans for the success of the movie (pictured), which has broken records (most successful opening weekend ever for a female director - Catherine Hardwicke) and guaranteed a sequel.

To tell the truth I’m not so excited about this sequel, “New Moon“, I just started reading the book and until page 342 there is not enough Edward! No Edward means the movie will suck… I can’t wait to get to the end of this book, I want Edward back!!
