Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford won the 2008 Heisman Trophy Saturday night in New York City.

Bradford beat out Florida’s Tim Tebow and Texas’ Colt McCoy.

Tebow did receive the most 1st place votes but got only the third most total votes.

Congrats to Sam Bradford and the Sooners!  Now they can gear up to play against Tim Tebow’s Florida Gators for the BCS National Chamionship on January 8th.

Tebow edged out Bradford by one vote to win the Bumpshack Heisman Trophy vote.
