Stud RB Billey Joe Johnson Dead from Gunshot

Billey Joe Johnson's Tragic Death

Star football recruit Billey Joe Johnson from Mississippi is dead after what, at least for now, is appearing to be a self inflicted gun shot wound after being pulled over by a sheriff’s deputy.

The facts regarding the tragic death of Billey Joe are very disturbing and a bit suspicious.

It’s not clear why 17-year-old Billey Joe Johnson was stopped in Lucedale, but authorities say the junior tailback shot himself with a shotgun after the deputy walked back to the patrol car to run a license check.

“The deputy was sitting in his patrol vehicle … when he heard a gunshot and saw the victim laying on the ground by the driver’s side door of the vehicle that Johnson was driving. A shotgun was lying on the victim,” according to a statement from the George County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities would not immediately say whether they believed the shooting was a suicide or an accident.

Johnson is a stud RB college prospect that received offers from dozens of Division I schools including LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Ole Miss according to Fan House.

Johnson, hailing from Jackson, Miss., rushed for more than 1,500 yards his last season, totaling over 4,000 for his career, and received scholarship offers from a number of major schools including Alabama, LSU and Mississippi as a top-rated recruit by both Scout and Rivals.

With the south’s history of racism, lynchings, and cover ups I find the facts to be suspscious to say the least. I pray there was no foul play by the Mississipi authorities.  It would seem that Johnson had it all and a very bright future ahead of him. For him to just kill himself for being pulled over just doesn’t pass my smell test.

Our condolences to the family and friends of Billey Joe Johnson.

Lt Brown is a compulsive liar. She had demonstrated this on several websites.

He did shoot himself at Benndale’s. He did not leave the main highway. Highway 26 IS one of two main highways going out of town in that direction. He came in that way, and he left that way.

What ABOUT the phone records? I’m sure they can get them if they haven’t already. The Grand Jury has already listened to the audios from that morning within the context of the hearing, including the dispatch calls prior to and after the accident.

No one was trying to kill him. That is the rumor she is so desperately trying to get started now since none of the other lies have worked.

The speed limits from Hannah’s house to where he shot himself are 25 and 35 mph….not 55.

Who cares how often he came to work early? The Grand Jury report stated that he came in early at the request of the night shift as a courtesy.

Did she even READ the Grand Jury report?! He had neglible gunshot residue on both hands from handling his service revolver that morning.

The wound was from a gunshot blast. She hasn’t even seen it. The “small entry woundâ€? comment is a lie from Curley Clark. Straight up.

His left ear was completely destroyed in the blast, and the earring from it was embedded in the inside of the door of the truck. If there was an “ear on his left side, it’s because it was reconstructed. There was even part of his head that had been removed for testing that was still in the lab in Jackson when he was buried and probably still is.

Sullivan did not drive from Hannah’s. He had just left the Department, coming in from the side, and saw Billey Joe run the light at the intersection ahead of him. He turned left and started to pursue him and then saw him run the stop sign at which point he followed Billey Joe until he pulled over at Benndale Carpets. It’s a short distance. Probably not more than a mile maybe.

Why SHOULD they put Sullivan’s pictures out there? For what purpose? So that y’all can make good on your threats to kill him?

You don’t even know it’s Hannah that is signing his “Dedication Page…it could be anyone. Even if she was inclined to, I’m sure her boyfriend wouldn’t like that. Going at her mother? Why don’t you tell us why? Who cares? She’s a teenager, and most teenagers “go at their parents a lot. We all know teenagers know more than any of US.

There were no shots reported near Hannah’s home.

He was on the main road, not a side road, and the parking lot where he stopped is lit at that hour of the morning. It is a road that is heavily traveled, and parts of the incident were seen by several different witnesses, all of whom testified to the Grand Jury. Your theory is pure idiocy. There was no TIME for him to be murdered and dumped there. His own father testified what time he left his house that morning, and there was barely time for him to leave there, beat on Hannah’s door, flee from there, and get stopped by Deputy Sullivan.

Yes, let’s also condemn the officers for preserving the accident scene by cordoning it off from the curious, and trying to spare the family the sight of their son before there was any chance of making him a little more presentable. Yeah, let’s assume it was something underhanded even though there were several people close to Billey Joe who came in to identify him to spare the family that task…Let’s not give any credit for having COMPASSION to the officers there.

Hannah’s not about to do anything. She was well past Billey Joe and had moved on with her life to someone who would hopefully will treat her well and not abuse her.

The real truth has been there all the time. The case is settled. Anything from this point forward is simply fabrication.

It’s really a shame that the intense racists water still flows heavily in the deep south of MISSISSIPPI. A talented, young black man is brutally killed because he’s dating a white girl and of course because he’s black. Any human being with God given sense can clearly see that this black young man was killed. For the deputy sheriff joe sullivan to say that billey joe johnson shot himself with a 12 gauge shotgun is truly insulting everyone’s intelligence. This black young man had everything in the world to live for. Billey joe johnson had some of the top colleges in the country recruiting him. How would you feel Mr white man if your talented 17 year old white son was shot in the head with a 12 gauge shotgun by the cops just because he was white and seeing a black girl? The sad part of this horrific tragedy is that those cops have gotten off. The question i would ask any parent out there is, what would you do if your son’s head was blown off by a deputy sheriff just because of his race and because he’s dating a girl of the opposite race? This despicable tragedy reminds us all of THE EMMITT TILL tragedy. If that was my child, there’s no way i would let those cops get away with cold-blooded murder. I honestly don’t see how any black person would want to live in that widely known racists state of mississippi; when you factor in all of the killings of black people in the last 6 decades there’s no way i would even want to be in a place like that. The Police Departmen of southern Mississippi has been know for decades to be corrupt and racist. The murder of billey joe johnson reinforces the veracity of the corrupt department. My question is how can one sleep peacefully at night when you know that you killed another human being just because he’s black. JUDGEMENT DAY will come upon you; what will you say then Deputy? You won’t be able to concutt some story then.

You know, I’m glad you’re not here, either. We do not need any more racists blacks here who do not have the capacity to recognize the truth when they see it because they are so caught up in the imagined injustices that “Mr. White Man” heaps on them. I am sick of you and your stupid hurt feelings over something that is well in the past which we had nothing to do with. The very idea that you still insist this is murder after it was proven to be an accident is utter insanity. Billey Joe put himself in the situation that caused him to panic and accidentally shoot himself. He and his family have no one to blame for this but him….and THEM for not trying to put a stop to the destructive direction he had decided to travel.

By the way, if you don’t like your life, more of you blacks should get a job, go to work every day, get the chip off your shoulder, and try to be pleasant to people instead of arrogant and mean. People usually respond in kind to what is dished out to them.

Better yet, locate some of the writings or speeches of Bill Cosby. He’s got it RIGHT.

Many people are attacking the police on this one, while there is no evidence to back them up; if there had been evidence of wrongdoing, I’m sure the grand jury would have acted on it. Instead, they ruled an accidental shooting due to lack of any other evidence.

I do have a question, though. Was there any evidence of another passenger being in the truck with Billey Joe? What if someone had entered the truck while Billey Joe was at the girl’s place, and threatened him with the shotgun? It could explain his crazy driving that day, and the other person may not have been noticed by the policeman when Billry Joe ran the light and the stop sign. Billey Joe may have failed to mention anything about the other person to the police because he was afraid of being shot if he did. Then, when he returned to the truck, he was shot anyway, and the gun tossed on top of him. And, in all the fuss, the killer left unnoticed.

If this is possible, then the killer could have been most anyone - white, black or other. NO ONE on this earth is without SOMEONE who doesn’t like him/her, so that could be a good place to start an investigation.

Of course, this could all have already been investigated, for all I know. And, if there are facts that are yet unknown, getting some answers could be very interesting. There is always the possibility that racism could have been involved, and the perpetrators should be brought to justice in that case. However, to assume racism without concrete facts to back it up is dead wrong. Sadly, it’s typical for liberals to do just that. Oh well…
