Conservative Paul Weyrich Dead at 66
Paul Weyrich, who was the first president of the conservative Heritage Foundation, died early this morning at the age of 66-years-old. He was also the chairman and CEO of the Free Congress Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation was created in 1973 to promote conservative public polices.
To formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
Weyrich’s health was probably jeopardized by what is going on in Washington of late with all of the bailouts, handouts, and expansion of government.
