Suzanne Somers- best known for infomercials and her infamous Thighmaster- is being sued over a business venture that failed to ever get off the ground. The concept was called Suzanne’s Kitchen, and the premise was to offer a place where consumers could create their own meals using recipes that Somers developed. These dishes could then be frozen to be served at a later time.

Investor, John Shannon Bouchillon is seeking to recover $400,000 that he put into the venture. The lawsuit was filed in Fayette Circuit Court earlier this month. Bouchillon’s attorney, W. Craig Robertson III, told the Herald-Leader, “In reality, there was no agreement that had been reached … and ultimately Suzanne pulled the plug on the whole arrangement. That left everybody holding the bag, including my client.”

Maybe next time Suzanne should just stick to exercise equipment.
