Peyton Manning Wins MVP Award

Indianapolis Colts quaterback Peyton Manning was named the NFL MVP on Friday for the third time in his Hall-of-Fame bound career.   Manning led the Colts to wins in their last nine games of the regular season.

The award meant more than the previous two MVP’s according to Manning:

“It’s been the most rewarding regular season that I’ve been a part of in my 11 years, and I have to believe a lot of the other players and even coaches might feel the same way.”

  1. Peyton Manning - Colts (32 votes)
  2. Chad Pennington - Dolphins (4 votes)
  3. Michael Turner - Falcons (4 votes)
  4. James Harrison - Steelers (3 votes)
  5. Adrian Peterson - Vikings (3 votes)
  6. Philip Rivers - Chargers (2 votes)
  7. Chris Johnson - Titans (1 vote)
  8. Kurt Warner - Cardinals (1 vote)

Manning, along with Brett Favre, are the only players to win the award three times.
