Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony put on quite an interesting display of affection at the 2009 Latino Inaugural Gala held at the Union Station last night in Washington DC. Despite all break up rumors, Marc and Jen continue to fake a happy marriage.

In a recent interview Jennifer declared divorce is not an option and the reason why she was not wearing her wedding ring was because it didn’t match her dress or outfit. That makes perfect sense since a wedding ring should just be handled as another fashion accessory and not like something meaningful (something you are not suppose to take off just because it doesn’t match your shoes!!).

I will not even comment on Jennifer’s dress and hairstyle!! What do you think: Hit or miss??

The actress was seen out and about in Hollywood doing some shopping. It’s just the right thing to do if you want to forget but Jennifer still looked totally miserable or just bored by the presence of the paparazzi.

Actress Drew Barrymore appeared at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet with a new accessory: a tongue piercing! Drew was excited to tell Access Hollywood she just got it: “I got it done about six months ago.”

Who would have thought Drew was still a rebel? She just got the decade wrong (I mean century!). Pierced tongues aren’t really trendy these days, are they? People say pierced tongues are some sort of secret weapon to spice up a relationship – been there, done that and it’s really not that good! Heiress Paris Hilton is still enjoying the best the 2009 Sundance Film Festival can give – exposure and parties! Yesterday Paris took her new BFF Brittany Flickinger out for some new paparazzi shots and to mingle with the fans. Brittany has passed Paris’ friendship test therefore she is now enjoying her long 15 minutes of fame, which are bound to end quickly we hope!

Paris says: “I don’t like it when people are liars or users – girls who are just trying to be my friend for the wrong reasons. I’ve had a lot of people in my past who were friends with me just to get publicity.

“When I was young, my mom or sister used to have to point out if someone was using me to make a name for themselves – you know, linking arms with me on the red carpet and trying to get in every picture. But now I can see for myself when someone is just hungry for attention.

“I have this great test to see if a girl’s a real friend. When we’re shopping I’ll pick out an outfit that I know looks hot and one that is awful. If my friend says the bad one looks good, I know she’s not a good friend.”

Brittany and Paris seemed to have lots of fun! In fact Paris is playing dress up, which is just another way to get more attention. New IT girl Katia Verber is giving her a run for her money – Paris has to keep on top of her game! So she went out dressed like a sexy pink panther, actually it’s more like a sexy pink pussycat (the kitten hat seems to be a new fashion trend, I just didn’t get that memo!).

Ok, it’s not a panther, it’s not a pussycat, it’s a bunny!! It’s a bunny hat!! Aww… so cute!!

While I was vacationing at the Magic Kingdom last week in Orlando I came across a couple of gents wearing t-shirts with the likeness of President Barack Obama with Mickey Mouse ears (see above).  Obama is already the most pop culturized President this side of former President Ronald Reagan’s grave.

There are many articles out there on Obama and his popularity in culture and as a savior for America.  For better or worse it’s all hype at this point as he is yet to serve a single day as President of the United States (this changes tomorrow).

As Americans we all hope for the best for our country and naturally that includes whoever is in power at the moment. Whether you voted for Obama or not, this is the time to support him, at least from the get go until he has a chance to mess something up, and he will – he is human and a politician.

So on day one is always a great day to make predictions for a new President.  So we can agree BO is a cool cat, but how do you predict the first term of his presidency to turn out?

Will Cindy McCain be the geriatric contestant on this season of Dancing with the Stars? Access Hollywood, Page Six and other online sources have confirmed that the 53 year old wife of senator John McCain has been approached by the show.

“Just before Thanksgiving, Cindy McCain started talks with producers to appear as a dancer on the show, a source told Page Six. ”She wanted to do it very badly.” But according to the publication, husband Sen. John McCain “put the kibosh on it.”

Cindy McCain is no stranger to the entertainment world as she has competed in beauty pageants in the past. She landed the title of Junior Rodeo Queen of Arizona in 1968.

Sucks she won’t be able to do it… I would like to see Mrs. McCain shake it for national television!

In a world where life often imitates art, four people were stabbed during the after-party for the “Notorious” movie premiere, chronicling the life of rapper Biggie Smalls aka Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G.

Police said Saturday a 21-year-old victim stabbed numerous times was in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. Three other who were stabbed were in stable condition.

The film stars Jamal Woolard (as Biggie), Angela Bassett (as his mom) and Derek Luke (as Sean Combs/P-Diddy/Puff Daddy). No other information about the incident has been released at this time.

Apparently the French don’t like Katy Perry as she may have thought. Last night she was given the international song of the year award for “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It” at the NRJ Music Awards in the Riviera resort of Cannes. But at the end of the night, the host announced at the end of the show Saturday that there had been a mistake in vote-counting and that Perry was not the winner. Turns out Rihanna won for “Disturbia.”

Whoopsy-a-daisy! Maybe that Karma’s catching up with her… What’s a former Gospel singer doing making out with girls anyway?

Ok- first of all- who knew Miami Heat superstar Dwayne Wade was married with children, because I sure didn’t?! Well, apparently he’s done his wife and kids wrong, and Siohvaughn Wade is telling the world all about it.

According to docs from recent divorce proceedings Siohvaughn, Wade’s soon-to be-ex wife, has a few minor complaints which include child abandonment, adultery, and the case of a nasty little STD infection she allegedly received from him.

She also alleges their one-year-old doesn’t even recognize the baller because he’s been so absent from the two kids they share. Siohvaughn is demanding the names of every one of his alleged sexual partners during their marriage, and it’s no secret that actress Gabrielle Union – Wade’s rumored GF — could possibly end up on that list.

Ouch! If any of this is true I will be so disappointed. I really thought D-Wade was a stand-up guy in a world of bow-down losers. Maybe he’s really just one of the guys…

Anne Heche has been spotted around the Sundance Film Festival with her hot man, James Tupper, who she is expecting a child with. I got to thinking… this is one confused chick.

She dated soap opera actors Richard Burgi and David Forsyth, then went on to Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham. After that, she was with comedian and older man Steve Martin for two years. Then, out of nowhere, she decided to be a lesbian and was with Ellen Degeneres for three years- a time the duo spent looking very much like twins.

Right after the high profile break-up she started seeing a cameraman who worked with Ellen on a comedy special, Coleman Laffoon. They got married and had baby Homer six months later (shotgun marriage, much?). After six years of marriage, she left Laffoon for her Men in Trees co-star James Tupper, and now she’s knocked up by him.

After all that, Anne really does look better than ever. I don’t agree at all with her lifestyle choices, but at least she’s pulled it together and has a hot man by her side!
