The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL have fired head coach Jon Gruden after seven seasons and one Super Bowl victory.  GM Bruce Allen was also relieved of his duties.

“We will be forever grateful to Jon for bringing us the Super Bowl title, and we thank Bruce for his contributions to our franchise,” Buccaneers co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a statement. “However after careful consideration, we feel that this decision is in the best interest of our organization moving forward.”

A source close to Gruden said the coach was “blindsided” by the move, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported.

Expect Gruden to land on his feet though.  He has a Super Bowl victory under his belt and the Bucs have made horrible head coach firings in the past.  The most notably being the firing of Tony Dungy who went on to lead the Colts to a Super Bowl victory and consistant deep drives into the playoffs before retiring last week.

Daughter of Alla Verber, who helps run Russia’s biggest luxury retailer, Mercury, which brought Dolce, Gucci, and Prada to Russia in the mid-1990s, Katia Verber is well known for being Moscow’s IT girl and her fashion sense. The 24 year-old socialite is called by Marie Claire the “Paris Hilton of Russia” and we can’t help but see the analogy.

In the interview Katia flashed her $7000 luxury titanium Vertu cell phone and complained the $250,000 gold Bentley owned by her family breaks down all the time, which made her arrive late for the scheduled interview.

Futile. Check. Airhead. Check. Bentley. Check. Yep, that’s Paris Hilton! Except Paris has two Bentleys, one pink and one blue! Does it mean it’s war to see which social parasite gets more attention?? I say Paris is winning – she is way cuter!!

Actor Mickey Rourke, who recently won a Golden Globe award for best actor for his role on “The Wrestler“, supports PETA’s efforts to knock out animal overpopulation appearing in its latest ad with the slogan: “Have The Cojones To Fix Your Dog“.

Every year, millions of unwanted dogs and cats are left at extremely crowded animal shelters, where most are put to death. Less fortunate unwanted animals are abandoned on the streets to fend for themselves and often become victims of traffic, disease, starvation, and extreme weather. Some are stolen by laboratory dealers or used as bait by dogfighters. Two simple surgeries—spaying and neutering—are the solution.

Mickey has a really close relationship with his dogs and made one emotional speech when he thanked them for his Golden Globe: “I’d like to thank all my dogs. The ones that are here, the ones that aren’t here anymore because sometimes when a man’s alone, that’s all you got is your dog. And they’ve meant the world to me.”

Someone should really check if Mickey really spayed and neutered his dogs to make sure he believes what he is saying and isn’t just another pretty face on yet another PETA ad.

Katy Perry might have kissed a girl and liked it so much that she took all her clothes off for her as well. The photo above very well could be fake or a doctored job, but the girl in the photo either is Katy or ‘bares’ a striking resemblance to the popular pop singer.

I have no clue where this Durex Condom commercial was aired. I assume, due to the content of the commercial, it was likely in Europe, since they are usually more lax about sex and nudity. It is a bit graphic (if rubber can be graphic) but extremely funny to watch.

Actress Kate Hudson has no problem stripping off for the camera. She actually thinks it’s fun doing nude photo shoots and considers it an art.

Kate told MTV.co.uk: “I love doing them and I will do more. It’s fun. Also, I’ve come to appreciate the skill of the photographer. It’s a real art. I’m very interested in that side of it.”

I can’t really remember any remarkable nude photos of Kate and this InStyle cover is so badly Photoshopped that it doesn’t even seem like Kate’s body. Not really an art, is it Kate??

Johnny Depp most would agree has gotten sexier with age. He has also taken on more and more roles geared towards children because of his own children, Lily Rose and Jack, and thrived in those roles.  Now comes word that Depp will join SpongeBob Squarepants and voice a character on a future episode of the Nickelodeon cartoon.

The New York Daily News is reporting that heartthrob Depp, 45, will joining the cast of the Nickelodeon TV special titled Spongebob vs. The Big One.

No airdate has been announced yet, but Depp will be voicing the character of “Jack Kahuna Laguna,” a surfer dude.  Totally awesome!

SpongeBob is a sponge that lives on the bottom of the ocean in Bikini Bottom.  He works at the Krusty Krab and his best friend is Patrick Star, a starfish.

Phoenix is a major fan of SpongeBob. We had a large SpongeBob Squarepants yard inflatable for Christmas that we had to keep in the living room because Phoenix insisted.  It sounded like a helicopter was inside our house since it was built for outdoors.

Samantha Ronson wants to erase their rough past by starting a new life as a married couple but it seems like Lindsay Lohan isn’t really into the whole walking down the aisle and eternal vows of love thing. Not unless Sam accepts some of her outrageous demands!

“Lindsay wants Sam to completely stop talking to her old girlfriends and cut off family members who don’t like Lindsay-and that’s most of Sam’s family.”

“They see how much Sam and Lindsay fight and believe their relationship is toxic.”

Samantha is desperate and according to sources she has even begged Lindsay to marry her, saying: “Marry me, Lindsay! Please marry me!” That is kind of pathetic! These two clearly need each other even if their relationship is unhealthy – I think it’s what keeps them going.

“They needed space and time,” says the insider. “They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.”

“They break up and make up all the time,” says the Lindsay insider. “There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.”

Lately Lindsay has been re-bonding with her little sister, Ali Lohan (looks scary skinny in the photos!), who is possibly going to move in with her. The two sisters were seen out and about shopping in Malibu.
