Actress Kate Hudson, who is currently single, was seen with new friend, golfer Adam Scott at the beach in Hawaii. The 28 year-old is considered one of Australia’s most eligible bachelors after splitting with his long time girlfriend Marie Kojzar last year. Adam didn’t confirm or deny the relationship with Kate, he just said they met through a mutual friend.

Adam says: “I’m not here with her but I know Kate. We met here [for the first time]. We have a mutual friend so we met through him.”

Kate’s vow to stay happily single didn’t last for long. Some people just can’t stay single, they need a relationship to feel good with themselves and be happy. It’s not a bad thing but Kate could be a little more careful with her very public relationships. Kate recently broke up with Owen Wilson, got into an intense relationship with Lance Armstrong just to break up again after a couple of months.

‘I feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I’m in something solid. But it’s also the first time I’ve ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective.’

Kate said at the time: ‘I’ve made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.’

The duo had a great time at the beach and it seems like they can be a little more than just friends. Or they are just pretty close friends getting to know each other for a possible colorful relationship in the future… something is going on between Kate and Adam that’s for sure!

In an attempt to get more and more people to choose the Hamilton Island as a destination of choice for tourism, Tourism Queensland is looking for a candidate to live in the island for 6 months (rent-free), blog and show off the fun activities that can be done in the paradisaical island. And they are offering $150,000 for one person (including return airfares and travel insurance) to have the most fabulous holidays ever… that’s not fair!

Australians and overseas applicants must be willing to “swim, snorkel, make friends with locals and generally enjoy the tropical Queensland climate and lifestyle”.

The `island caretaker’ position was created as part of a three-year $1.7 million marketing strategy by Tourism Queensland.

“Yes this is part of a unique Tourism Queensland strategy to promote the islands of the Great Barrier Reef internationally, but candidates will have to go through a genuine recruitment process.”

Yep, the recruitment process will be hard as they are looking for an adventurous and creative candidate to go on outrageous journeys on the island. The candidates not only have to be good swimmers but have to be social and outgoing.

Exactly what I need right now: a new job!! And spending 6 months on a beach sounds perfectly fine to me… on my way to apply!! All you have to do is send a video of why you should be the one to get the best job in the world, which is having plenty of fun and blog about it (it’s too good to be true!!).

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl was out and about with her mother shopping in Hollywood yesterday. It’s good to see Katherine smoke free… at least she wasn’t holding her usual cigarette and from her looks I would say she is definitely trying to quit. Katherine seems to have been gaining a little weight or maybe it’s the flat shoes (matching her sunglasses!).

In VH1’s reality dating show “Real Chance of Love“, brothers Ahmad Givens (Real) and Kamal Givens (Chance), “The Stallionaires” had to choose between 17 female contestants a winner. In the finale Chance did not find love, while Real has chosen Noah aka Corn Fed from Fargo, North Dakota.

Corn Fed confessed she has really fallen in love in the reality show but they have been so busy since the show ended that it has now faded. I guess that love wasn’t really that strong between Corn Fed and Real!

Corn Fed says: “Right when the show wrapped, I was on such a high. I fell for him. I had such strong feelings. I thought, “This is the one for me.” I fell in love on reality TV – crazy! We kept in touch, calling and texting. “I love you,” and talking about future plans and this and that. About a month went by and it’s almost like it kind of faded. We got busy.”

But Corn Fed is still hopeful to get back together with Real and make that spark come back:

“That’s what’s so hard about this whole reality thing. It’s so hard to stay in a close relationship. I still care about him so much and I know how I felt at the time was real. I know I could feel that again. Seeing him at the reunion will maybe make that spark come back.”

Actress Reese Witherspoon was caught without makeup by the paparazzi when she was getting ready to pay for parking after leaving a medical building in Beverly Hills yesterday. Reese looked amazing even without makeup!! Thank God for fabulous sunglasses that cover everything you don’t want people to see… like tired baggy eyes!!

So Reese was leaving a medical building… could it mean Reese and Jake Gyllenhaal are finally expecting?? Nah, probably not! But she is glowing and they are really dating, possibly getting ready to tie the knot. It wouldn’t be such a surprise if Reese wanted to give her kids a new sibling. Ok, it’s all just wishful thinking!! I don’t know why but lately I feel like everyone should be getting pregnant…

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt was finally granted a 3 year restraining order against a 62 year-old man named David Nolte, who she accuses of stalking her. According to TMZ, Jennifer got scared when she started receiving graphic letters describing violent sexual fantasies and when he showed up at her mother’s house in December. Jennifer also believes this man sold his home in Colorado so he could move to LA to be closer to her.

David is now banned from going to the Universal Studios in Los Angeles, where Jennifer shoots the “Ghost Whisperer” and was also ordered to stay away from her family and ex-fiancé Ross McCall. Jennifer and Ross just broke up over the holidays.

The Obama family has been searching for the perfect pooch to join them at the White House. Barack Obama has finally narrowed down his big list to 2 options: the famous Portuguese Water Dog or a Labradoodle.

That’s a Portuguese water dog, a pedigree pup — “known for centuries along Portugal’s coast,” the American Kennel Club notes, “this seafaring breed was prized by fishermen for a spirited, yet obedient nature, and a robust, medium build that allowed for a full day’s work in and out of the water. ”

But those Labradoodles sure are popular. A designer hybrid generally accepted as an informal breed of its own now, yet not recognized by the AKC, the mix of Labrador retriever and Poodle is a spirited and bouncy pooch.

I do think Obama knows better than to choose an ugly hybrid when he can get the classy Portuguese Water Dog (centuries old and naturally beautiful!!). At least the Portuguese Water Dog is a good swimmer and good company not only for his kids, Sasha and Malia Obama, but also for the entire family.

The Obamas are looking in animal shelters!! Good example! Don’t buy your pets from nasty breeders or pet shops when there are so many animals needing a home and a family to love!!

Ryan Seacrest was covering the Red Carpet at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards when he tried to call and run after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for an interview: “Hi, guys. Brad? Angelina?”

What did Brangelina do?? Ignored and turn their backs to Ryan just like that! Yep, do you think they just didn’t hear him or they don’t even know who the famous “American Idol” host is? I don’t think Brad and Angie watch AI, I can’t see them cuddling on the couch and watching the show… that’s so not sexy!

Ryan Seacrest talked about the incident on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning: “I don’t think Angelina thinks I’m that important,” he said. “I don’t think I’m top of mind for Brad and Angelina. I honestly don’t believe they’d know who I was if I walked over there.”

Ryan went on to say how cool is Tom Cruise, who actually stopped to talk to him: “Then we went back down there and caught up with Tom Cruise, who I think is a terrific guy. I think he’s really cool,” he said. “By the way, have you seen his skin tone up close lately? You should!”

The reason behind Brangelina’s reaction might have been Ryan’s comment on how Angie was “cold” when she replied: “Cereal — we made cereal” to his question “What did you feed your children today?” at the 2006 Golden Globes. Well, for stupid questions, you get stupid answers!! That’s not really smart, is it Ryan?
