Actor Tom Cruise, who is currently promoting his controversial movie Valkyrie, sat down with the ladies from “The View” and of course John Travolta’s son’s sudden death was one of the topics of conversation. Always expect “The View” ladies to make some uncomfortable questions since it has been said the family’s belief in Scientology might have something to do with the unfortunate death.

“It’s horrific.” “It’s just horrific. Here you have a man, both of them doting parents, they’re wonderful people…” Cruise said in an interview scheduled to air on Friday.

“I remember Jett when he was born,” Tom continued. “I saw him when he was just a few months old and John just adored him, and both of his children, and Kelly.”

“I just don’t have the words for it.”

Tom was lost for words! I guess we all are a big shocked with the recent events but you would think Tom Cruise had something more to say than just horrific.

I’m so not a sporty spice; I’m a stay-at-home-and-veg spice.”

On the press rumors that she’s pregnant: “I got these calls that I was engaged way before it happened. I’ve also been pregnant several times. With, like, sextuplets. That must mean I’ve been eating way too many bagels or something. I’m not pregnant and I’m not going to be anytime soon.”

On her dream role: “Every actor wants to work on a Western. I would run a brothel, like a madam or something. I’m working with what I got. It’s only so long that people are going to want to see me in a corset. So I might as well do it now.”

Teresa Lourenco is a model born in Trinidad and raised in Germany, who was named by Sports Illustrated as Hot Chick of the day. Teresa was in a SI Swimsuit issue before with her husband and NBA star Richard Jefferson back in 2005.

Actor Patrick Swayze has been fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer for a year now. So he finally sat down with Barbara Walters for an exclusive interview to tell all he has been through and his hopes for the future.

Patrick admits he was scared and angry when he was told about his diagnosis: “Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m asking: ‘Why me?’” Despite all he has been through he still hasn’t lost hope for a cure. The cruel reality is that Patrick knows he might only have 2 more years to live.

Patrick says: “Five years is pretty wishful thinking. Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe statistics. I want to last until they find a cure, which means I’d better get a fire under it.”

He also confessed to Barbara Walters he will do anything to beat cancer from New Age crystals, pilgrimages to Red Indian healing grounds and remedies. We do hope Patrick can find what he is looking for… there is still hope!! Even if his chances are slim, there’s always the possibility of a miracle and he is holding on to that!

Former BFFs Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have made peace with each other. Paris and Lindsay “broke up” back in 2006 when Lindsay started dating Paris’ ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos. One girl’s trash can be another girl’s treasure, but I can see why there would be a grudge between them.

Paris says: “We’re fine now. I think she’s really changed. I saw her a month ago and she was really sweet and seemed really happy and we’re all adults now.

“Actually I’ve just decided not to fight with anyone because it’s really not worth it.”

Troublemaker British singer/songwriter Lily Allen is a really confused girl. The best she could do was just shut up and try to control herself in public. In an interview with The Sun, Lily confesses she grew up around sin, a contradiction to her Catholic upbringing.

“I don’t like Christianity much. I was brought up in a Catholic school and they told me gays, adultery and drugs were bad.

“All my mum’s friends were gay, my dad was having affairs and there were drugs in the house when I was a kid, so it was a bit cruel.”

I can understand why Lily is so confused but that’s real life for you – it’s complicated you can’t just put everything in separate boxes! There are different shades of grey between black and white… you get my drift!

In the same interview Lily doesn’t understand what’s so wrong about cocaine! REALLY??

Lily says: “The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you – you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that’s not true.

“I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalize it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs.”

So we take it Lily knows how to consume drugs and still keep up a normal lifestyle?? Do we need to remind her of the various times she was caught by paparazzi completely wasted?? Oh, but she goes on to bash her record company, EMI on her earnings.

“I got £50,000 for my first album and I sold a lot of records. Twenty years ago, I’d have been booked in at the Ritz with five grams of cocaine on my table and 10 bunches of flowers. Some new clothes. A chauffeur on 24-hour call.

“Now I’m lucky to get an Oyster card. I ask for a hotel in Paris and I get a two-star place in the eighth arrondissement on my own. I’m like: ‘Do you want me to get raped and killed?’”

What about working harder?? Why does everyone want to get big money out of nothing?? Come on! Lily Allen had one hit and she only appears on every tabloid and gossip site because of her erratic behavior, interviews like this and feuds with other celebrities.

The 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards happened yesterday at the Shrine Auditorium and the biggest winners of the night were Carrie Underwood, who won People’s Choice Awards for Female Singer, Country Song (“Last Name“) and Star 35 & Under; and Hugh Laurie (love him!) who won the awards for Best TV Drama (“House“) and Male TV Star.

Actress Kate Hudson won People’s Choice Award for Leading Lady in the movies and Christina Applegate, who is now cancer free after a double mastectomy, won People’s favorite Female TV star.

Celebrities got another chance to shine at the first important red carpet event of the year, The 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards, and they all look sparkly and fabulous. It seems like they put a lot of thought on what to wear but if we had to name a worst dressed celeb, it would be a tie between Jordin Sparks and Nikki Cox.

As for the best dressed, we love Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Morrison’s dresses. Different styles but they both look absolutely amazing and did a great job with the hair too.

Currently single and apparently not looking to get into another relationship any soon, Kate also talks about her career and the importance to keep a healthy happy relationship (practice makes perfect!).

Kate and Anne Hathaway premiered their new movie “Bride Wars” this Monday in New York. Here are some highlights of Kate Hudson’s ELLE interview:

On being boy crazy: “When I was a teenager, like, when I turned 16, I loved boys. That was just my thing. My mom was like, ‘Oh boy, she loves boys!’ I always loved boys. I still love boys. First of all, I always had a boyfriend. This is the first time I’ve been single since I was 16!”

On dating: “I’ve been on so many bad dates. I went on one where I just left because he was so boring. I felt really bad, and I didn’t want him to pay for dinner. It’s like, ‘It’s really nice to meet you’ – moving on! Then you call your friend and you’re like, ‘Really? Really? Is that who you think I would have a great night with?!’”

On the paparazzi: “They’ve become an entity to themselves. But eventually they’ll implode. They’re creating a house of cards that will inevitably fall. These are not nice people. When you’re taking your child to school, and they’re trying to get on school property to take a picture, it literally makes you just want to smack them.”

On her wedding: “The dress was all I cared about. I really wanted the princess gown. The young bride, full Scarlett O’Hara gown. The only other thing I wanted was a raw bar and my mom was like, ‘No,’ and I was like, ‘All right.’”

On the importance of keeping her man happy: “People think that you can put your sexual life on hold, but you have to find time for it. Without that relationship, our family is broken. My mom really implanted that in me when I was pregnant.”

On the movie industry: “No matter what people like to say, it’s very hard to get female-driven movies made, it’s not even, like, feminist so much as it’s hard to get boys into the theater. It’s a business. That’s just the way it is, unfortunately for us ladies. So what you need is a high concept, a movie that women want to see that men don’t feel like you’re twisting their arm to see.”

The Travolta family, John, Kelly Preston and Ella are planning a small private memorial service for their son and brother Jett Travolta. According to TMZ, the service will be held at their family home in Ocala, Florida and there will be no celebrities attending it since they wanted it to be something special for close friends and family only.

One thing won’t be missing in Jett’s memorial, which is friends and fan’s support to the mourning family. Reportedly the local flower shops say they’ve been flooded with orders. Also some guests started to arrive at the local Hilton hotel:

17 rooms have been blocked off for Jett Travolta’s memorial. The only people who have checked in so far are “doctor/lawyer” types. They started coming in at around midnight.

Several limo companies have been hired to take people to and from the airport. Right now five SUVs are parked in front of the hotel.
