Actress Kate Hudson is the new cover girl for the February issue of UK InStyle. In the interview Kate touches on some controversial subjects like girls being mean to each other (Kate and Anne Hathaway reportedly have a difficult relationship!), being single (for like a second before she got her claws on a new man!) and her “nearly nude” lingerie.

Kate is one funny girl. I bet she has a blast doing this type of interviews and the photo shoot is breathtaking. Here are some highlights from Kate Hudson’s InStyle UK interview:

On girls being mean to each other: “Most of us have been in a situation where women are very threatened by other women. I’ve been in situations where just being happy was a threat to others. But I’m not like that. I was raised to root for other people. And I think we need that”

On being a single mom: “Being a single parent can be difficult, but I don’t feel I am one. Chris and I are co-parenting and traveling is where it gets difficult. Chris [Robinson] is on the road and I’ve had a busy last year, so I am going to take a break in 2009. I want to soak in every little part of who Ryder is.”

On being single: “I’m enjoying being single because I really never have been…I feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I’m in something solid. But it’s the first time I’ve taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. I’ve made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.”

Kate on her own style: “Sometimes I feel a bit schizophrenic, like I have no idea! When I’m going somewhere and I’m tired and not thinking about it at all, what I end up wearing is what I would say my style is. I like things that are comfortable and flowy – and lots of jewelery”

Kate on underwear: “I discovered these great undergarments I can’t live without called ‘Nearly Nude’…They’re so great. And you can wear them under any dress; they’re really thin. Also, Wolford makes a kind of slip that holds you in. It’s a little expensive, but women should invest in that! I don’t go anywhere without Calvin Klein strapless bras, and since I wear a lot of short skirts, I always have…my little boy-shorts to wear under the minis.”

Taylor Swift latest album Fearless has been released for eleven weeks but it continues to be the #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.  The rest of the top ten is almost exactly the same as last week. There was no newcomers into the top ten this week.  Beyonce remained at #2 with I Am…Sasha Fierce and Nickelback continued in the third spot with Dark Horse.

College Candy has come up with a list of the ‘Top 5 Grey’s Anatomy Plotlines That Didn’t Make It.’ This season of the show has had some pretty far fetched episodes that has led some viewers wondering just how far the writers of the show might reach.

Rejected Grey’s Anatomy Plotlines….But Give Them Time..

1. Having a ghost friend is a great idea. It worked for Ghost Whisperer, and Jennifer Love Hewitt is nowhere near as hot as Katherine Heigl. It only makes more sense that a hot ghost with a hot star = ratings galore. I think they missed out on an even bigger opportunity: Izzy is a ghost orgy with Denny and all the patients that ever died at Seattle Grace.

2. McDreamy is just perfect in every way: he’s sexy, he’s funny, and he’s the most talented surgeon ever to grace this planet. Too good to be true, right? Exactly. We never knew anything about Derek’s life before he came to Seattle Grace…until now. Turns out Derek used to be Dayna, a talented female surgeon in New York who was getting nowhere in her career thanks to the Glass Ceiling. Dayna was sick of being picked over in favor of male surgeons, so she decided to take matters into her own hands by performing gender reassignment surgery…on herself. Yes, she’s just that good. You didn’t think a man could have hair that good, did you?

3.  TV dramas love guest stars and Heidi Montag is a media whore – a match made in heaven. Speidi heads to Seattle for another posed photo shoot when Spencer decides that Heidi’s 92 pound frame is just too large. He can’t handle the ounce of fat on her thighs, so he convinces her to get lipo. While in recovery, the hospital is bombed and Heidi is responsible to perform life-saving surgury on all of the doctors at Seattle Grace. In a bikini. Which she then turns into a music video.

The splitting off of Addison onto her own show Private Practice seems to have likely been the wrong decision to make.  She brought a lot to the dynamic on ‘Grey’s’ between her, Derek and Meredith.

The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced this morning on the air that she is pregnant with her third child according to Knocked Up Celebs.

Elisabeth said she felt extremely nauseous at the Obama Inauguration but that it was just from excitement and fatigue.  She had appeared in several magazines during the past year showing off her stellar physique.

Hasselbeck and her husband, Tim Hasselbeck, have a daughter, Grace 3, and son, Taylor Thomas 1.

Actress Mischa Barton recently celebrated her 23rd birthday at Caviar Kaspia restaurant in Paris (Jan 25) and was caught by the cameras on some hot girl on girl action with an unknown girl friend.

The photos were pasted all over the internet and the natural lesbian rumors began, something that Mischa doesn’t quite understand so she showed off her indignation with a new blog entry.

As I’m sure most of you have already seen, I was photographed at my 23rd birthday party engaging in what most of the gossip blogs refer to as a “girl on girl kiss“. Well I just wanted to take this moment to clear the air by saying that the kiss was purely platonic! We were joking around and it was taken out of context.

The anonymous female I was photographed with is actually my close friend Irina. Irina works as a model in Paris and since meeting a few months ago we have been spending a lot of time together. We share a lot of the same interests and I really enjoy her company. I guess you can say she’s become my Paris partner in crime!

Mischa is clearly looking for publicity when she should be looking for a job. Besides having someone else doesn’t quite exactly mean you are not into girls. Hollywood producer David Weintraub became the latest celebrity last night to be busted for driving drunk (DUI).  In this exclusive Hollywood.tv video from last night you can see him pleading with the cops and going through all of the drunk tests.

Lil’ Davey has quite the hard time attempting to walk a straight line before the cops cuff and arrest him. His Range Rover is then towed off to the impound lot.

Weintraub is best know for ‘Sons of Hollywood.’

The famous director/producer Kim Manners has died at only 58 years-old due to complications from diagnosed lung cancer at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Manners was best known for his work as a producer of 160 episodes of the cult series “The X-Files” and had directed other 50 episodes including the season’s finale “The Truth” in 2002.

The director also worked in other famous series like “Charlie’s Angels,” “Simon & Simon,” “21 Jump Street,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.” Manners was currently the director and executive producer of CW’s “Supernatural“.

“Supernatural” mastermind Eric Kripke issued this statement:

Everyone at ‘Supernatural’ is walking around in a daze, shocked and absolutely devastated. Kim was a brilliant director; more than that, he was a mentor and friend. He was one of the patriarchs of the family, and we miss him desperately. He gave so much to ‘Supernatural,’ and everything we do on the show, now and forever, is in memory of him.

Manners is survived by his wife and 2 daughters Jessica and Chelsea. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this difficult time of mourning. A service will be help at Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes on February 7th.

“The Girls Next Door” and former Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison grace the cover of a very special issue of Playboy Magazine. This will probably be the last time we will see these girls exposed on the pages of the famous men’s magazine.

Aren’t we a bit disappointed they are actually very composed for a Playboy cover? I was expecting more exposure… bikini’s are something that could make any other magazine cover! Holly is showing a bit more skin but I think who wins the best Playboy cover award for February 2009 is Kendra. She looks fabulous and has a rocking body!

Jessica Simpson has been clearly gaining some weight, leading us to believe she actually might be pregnant. Since Jess is currently dating and possibly thinking about tying the knot with Tony Romo, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if she was really knocked up.

We all know having babies in the family (nephew Bronx Mowgli) creates a certain baby crave amongst females. Jess is the oldest sister and of course she wants to start a family of her own. Little sister Ashlee Simpson promptly defended Jess saying her sis is only a size 2 (going 4 or 6!!) on her new blog entry:

“I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight,” Ashlee writes on her blog after photos appeared of Jessica, 28, at the Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s annual Chili Cookoff on Sunday in Pembroke Pines, Fla.

Under the headline, “Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy,” Ashlee says: “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure.”

She adds: “All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.”

It’s all speculation for now. Jess has the right, like any other normal girl, to let herself go and get some extra weight on… pregnant or fat?? I guess it doesn’t really matter because the truth is everyone is talking about Jessica Simpson again! Maybe that is exactly what was expected as sources guarantee Jessica’s weight gain is nothing more than a big publicity stunt.

“She’s loving it,” said a source close to Simpson, who suspects her weight gain is strategic. “It will probably get her back on covers right when she is a ‘supporting’ act on tour.”

Papa Joe Simpson is reportedly now trying to sell the “entire story” behind Jessica’s weight gain and future weight loss to the highest bidder. Magazines love to sell pseudo-diet secrets and Jessica’s country star career never really took off… Cha-Ching!!

In another attempt to make everyone go vegetarian, PETA made one sexy ad titled “Veggie Love” with hot girls playing with their beloved vegetables to be aired during Super Bowl. The slogan is “Vegetarians Have Better Sex” and NBC classifies the ad as sexually exceeding their standards. Here is the hot list of scenes NBC wants to be edited out (slightly NSFW):

I have seen the ad a million times, I love it! Sexy girls, sensual movements and a lot of X-rated vegetables. I just can’t believe how dirty the mind of this Vice President of NBC is! “Screwing herself with broccoli”? “Pumpkin from behind”? “Licking pumpkin”? I mean seriously?? I didn’t quite see it as clear… the ad is not that sexual explicit, not as much as their description of the scenes.

Someone really needs to get laid before evaluating these ads! It’s all in the mind of who is watching (naughty Victoria needs an asparagus spanking!). If going vegan would make me look as sexy and hot as those girls I’ll do it in a minute but not to play games with vegetables! Now if only I really believed it!
