Rihanna has been reportedly cooperating with investigations into Chris Brown’s abuse case. According to E!, Rihanna told the cops Chris strangled her, threatened to kill her and finally left her unconscious and alone in the car. Here’s how everything went down:

They [Rihanna and Chris Brown] began squabbling after leaving Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party late Saturday. Shortly after midnight, things blew up. Brown pulled his silver Lambourghini to the side of a street in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood. That’s when, per the source, Rihanna grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage.

He tried in vain to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, “I’m going to kill you!”

The 20-year-old “Disturbia” singer told police that she lost consciousness, the source says, and when she awoke, Brown had fled.

This report of the events is quite disturbing. What could have triggered all this?? How can someone who claims to be in love be capable of such an inhumane act?? I know the biggest atrocities are made in the name of love, but it still doesn’t make it more understandable to me.

How could Chris leave Rihanna unconscious?? He could have killed her with his bare hands… what type of monster does something like that?? Rihanna was taken immediately to the hospital by the responding officers, who promptly took pictures of her injuries at the scene.
