Chris Brown’s Public Apology Mentions God But Not Rihanna
UPDATE: Chris Brown Video Apology (July 20, 2009)
It took him exactly a week but disgraced R&B star Ike Turner Chris Brown has released his first statement since his fists and teeth sank into girlfriend Rihanna’s face and body last Sunday morning in Los Angeles.
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”
“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.”
Like all public figures who get caught killing dogs (Michael Vick), sleeping with hookers (Eliot Spitzer), or worse, Brown calls on God and attempts to make us believe he is truly sorry by calling on the name of God.

This creep didn’t even mention Rihanna’s name or that he was sorry to her about his violent Tyson-esque explosion all over her face. Brown should be apologizing up and down to Ri-Ri and praying that she takes him back and doesn’t file charges against him. If charges are filed and Brown is found guilty he could serve several years behind bars.

There is ABSOLUTELY no reason a man should hit any woman under any circumstances and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason for a woman to put her hands on a man in a violent manner (RIHANNA!). What Chris Brown did was wrong and there is no right in it! BUt, there is 2 sides to every story. What made him get this mad? And how long had she been provoking him? These are questions we will never know the answers too! And we as the public along with the media are not making life easy for this very talented young man but at the token making life very posh for her. Listen to some the lyrics in her songs and read in to some of the things she says and her very arrogant aire about her. We are all human, and we all make mistakes and this is one mistake that will unfortunately follow him for a very long time. Despite this whole thing that’s happened I have continued to be a very big fan of Chris Brown!!
