R&B star M.I.A., who performed Sunday night at the Grammy Awards, gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday in Los Angeles.  The spunky M.I.A. blogged about the boy’s arrival on her MySpace page according to Knocked Up Celebs.

“Sunday night I came home from the Grammys still in the mood to party — I coulda easily gone out but I went home instead — lucky I did! My early stage labor kicked in around 2 a.m. My baby was born Wednesday. He is healthy, fine, beautiful and the most amazing thing ever on this planet — of course I’m his mum!! Me and baby are putting our tour dates for 2010 together, making mix tapes and figuring out a way to break out of the hospital! My baby boy says hi!�

The father of the boy is M.I.A.’s boyfriend Benjamin Brewer Bronfman, a musician.
