8:24pm – Co-MVP’s of the 2009 NBA All-Star Game: Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant (as predicted)
I am very glad Shaq won as it was very likely his last all-star game, as O’Neal himself mentioned in accepting the award with Kobe.
8:21pm - FINAL: West 146 – East 119
Leading Scorers: Kobe 27, Amar’e 19, LeBron 18, Dwayne 18, Pierce 18, Shaq 17, Roy 14 and Howard 13.
Matt Kenseth won the 2009 Daytona 500 on Sunday in a race that was called early due to rain. The race was called after 152 laps with 48 laps remaining.
Kyle Busch had led most of the day before being taken out by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a multi-car crash late in the race.

It took him exactly a week but disgraced R&B star Ike Turner Chris Brown has released his first statement since his fists and teeth sank into girlfriend Rihanna’s face and body last Sunday morning in Los Angeles.
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”
“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.”
Like all public figures who get caught killing dogs (Michael Vick), sleeping with hookers (Eliot Spitzer), or worse, Brown calls on God and attempts to make us believe he is truly sorry by calling on the name of God.

This creep didn’t even mention Rihanna’s name or that he was sorry to her about his violent Tyson-esque explosion all over her face. Brown should be apologizing up and down to Ri-Ri and praying that she takes him back and doesn’t file charges against him. If charges are filed and Brown is found guilty he could serve several years behind bars.

Allen Iverson surprised everyone at the NBA’s All-Star weekend on Phoenix Saturday with his new and surprising haircut. Iverson showed up at the Eastern Conference’s practice and quickly shocked his teammates by showing them that he had cut off his trademark cornrows in exchange for a clean, low-cropped hair style.
It is the same hairstyle that Allen sported while at Georgetown and his first year in the NBA. Believe it or not, Iverson is in his 13th NBA season. Many experts thought he would never last so long in the league because of his size and hard-nosed style of play.

Actress Halle Berry looks better than ever, probably in the best shape of her life or not. It doesn’t really matter because Halle looks absolutely radiant. She co-hosted with Tyler Perry the 40th NAACP Image Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles yesterday (Feb 12).

Chris Brown has held a little family and close friends meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday night to discuss the recent tragic events which led to his arrest, according to RadarOnline.
The 19 year-old R&B star has officially declared he and Rihanna are over, finito, dunzo… like Chris had to announce this breaking news!! Chris also made a desperate cry for help!!
Brown does not think Rihanna will seek charges against him and that he will NOT go to jail. Instead, Brown thinks he’ll face fines. The source tells us Brown’s final words to everybody were “Protect me. I’m your homeboy”.
Rihanna should definitely go all the way with this, show him he cannot just lose his “cool” like that and beat down a woman or anyone else for that matter. It seems to me Chris is a bit scared of the consequences now – let’s not forget Jay-Z is pretty mad and you just don’t mess with the Z!
“Chris is a walking dead man,” Jay-Z said. “He messed with the wrong crew.” – it sounds like a threat to me!!

Aubrey O’Day, who recently took her clothes off to pose for Playboy Magazine (photos here>>), celebrated her 25th birthday and the release of her March 2009 cover in a star-studded party. Amongst the special guests were Russell Simmons, Paris Hilton, Hugh Hefner and his new girlfriends (Crystal Harris and twins Karissa Shannon and Kristina Shannon).
The dress Aubrey is wearing is the most hideous thing ever – I think she was trying to get the sexy cute look but failed miserably – but that dress was made to undress so hopefully she might look better naked. What do you think?? Aubrey O’Day: Hot or a Sexy Crossdresser??

Paris Hilton has been a bad girl again!! According to sources Paris and Chris Brown were seen getting cozy, flirting and exchanging phone numbers while Rihanna performed as a guest of honor late Friday night in Hollywood at a party for hip hop producer Timbaland.
So the next night Paris sent some sort of naughty message to Chris Brown which set Rihanna on fire and led to the incident with the car keys. The rest is history: Chris got super mad and basically strangled and left his girlfriend unconscious in the car!
It’s just easier to blame it all on Paris! No matter who and how it happened, Chris had no right to do what he did and he should be punished for it. Chris has recently changed his Facebook status to single and his message to “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!”

Sandra Bullock’s new movie “All About Steve” comes out in October. Here are some highlights from Sandra Bullock’s Instyle Q&A:
Which role did you really want and not get? “There haven’t been any roles that I wanted that I didn’t get, but there was a movie I wish I had done: The Matrix. At the time [I was approached about it], it wasn’t cast with Keanu [Reeves], and I didn’t see myself with the person they wanted [in it]. Later I saw the movie and loved it. It was sexy and great because of Carrie-Anne [Moss] and Keanu.”
I read once you have a “cheat day” once a week when you eat whatever you want. Do you still follow that rule? “I start Friday night and I end Saturday night. But it is not so regimented. I’ll make lists of what I want to eat this week or next week. I was in the store Marfa and they had this dark chocolate with bacon in it so I’ve gotta try that! I eat really well because I can afford to. Like last night I had brown rice and black beans and some steamed vegetables so today I’m going to have all kinds of good stuff! I love sweets, like Viennese pastry, raw cookie dough, or a nice bowl of Lucky Charms with milk that I eat in bed watching SNL. That’s heaven right there!”
What do you tell a girl who feels ugly because she’s not blond or doesn’t have a thin nose? “Welcome to my broken nose! [Her sister accidentally broke it while lifting a garage door when they were younger.] …I was rejected in school because I didn’t look like the big-breasted, beautiful girls. I was awkward and sad. My mother always said, “Be original!” but I didn’t understand until I changed to be like everyone else. Once I fit in, I was like, What have I done? I realized that my friends before were much cooler, with a great sense of humor and a way of looking at the world that was more fun. But if I hadn’t gone through that, I wouldn’t have been driven to make my oddities cool. It’s what made me have a sense of humor and thick skin. It’s like in All About Steve—I’m making fun of everything people have judged me for and put it into one character.”
What was the first thing you splurged on? “It was a black BMW for my mom and dad. I gave it to them on Christmas. I remember seeing my mom’s face, it was pouring rain in D.C. and I drove it up to the front of the house with a big ribbon on it. I actually just bought it back from my dad. He was going trade it in and I was like ‘I want that car!’”
How do you stay in shape? “People ask, “How do actresses do it?” Um, they pay us to do this in order to look good on film. I do Pilates, kickboxing, weight training. When I’m in Austin, I run or ride a bike. If I can work out every day, I will. But there are times when I won’t do anything for two weeks, and I’m, like, you know what? I talk enough to burn calories.”
What’s your most memorable fashion moment? “My wedding dress. It was beautifully handcrafted, with elegant French lace. Angel Sanchez designed it, and every time I’d try it on, he’d say, “Sandra, please [lose] five pounds!” I apologize, Angel. I didn’t give him those five pounds, but guess what? That round, shiny, happy person was me.”

Gomorrah – (R) Made up of six short episodes with six main characters–all revolving around the four-sided criminality between the port of Naples, Scampia, Castelvolturno and Terzigno.
Two Lovers – (R) Leonard, a charismatic but troubled young man, moves back into his childhood home following a recent heartbreak. While recovering under the watchful eye of his parents, Leonard meets two women in quick succession: Michelle, a mysterious and beautiful neighbor who is exotic and out-of-place in Leonard’s staid world, and Sandra, the lovely and caring daughter of a businessman who is buying out his family’s dry-cleaning business. Leonard becomes deeply infatuated by Michelle, who seems poised to fall for him, but is having a self-destructive affair with a married man. At the same time, mounting pressure from his family pushes him towards committing to Sandra. Leonard is forced to make an impossible decision – between the impetuousness of desire and the comfort of love – or risk falling back into the darkness that nearly killed him.
Rihanna, a recent victim of abuse by her boyfriend Chris Brown, has been working on a new song “Emergency Room” with Akon, which tells the story of a woman who is cheated on and fights the urge to kill her cheating boyfriend. This is sure not a good time for this song to come out after recent rumors say Chris would have been cheating and that could have been the reason behind their brawl before Grammys’ night!
Ironically it was Rihanna who ended up in the emergency room!! Chris Brown was the one threatening to kill her and he was also to one to left her unconscious in the car while he run away scared like a rat!!
