Idol Exit: Michael Sarver Run Out of Motown

Michael Sarver Voted Off Idol

Tonight was time for another contestant on American Idol to be sent packing back home.  But first we had music performances and we had some good ones.

Ruben ‘Suge Knight’ Studdard got the show off to a start in a pseudo-tux to remind viewers that perhaps he should have been chosen over Clay Aiken as the winner several seasons ago

Then after Ryan Seacrest send a couple of boys to the hot seats we were blessed with a duet with the great Smokey Robinson and Joss Stone.

The great Stevie Wonder performed a medley of his classic hits before Ryan returned to the stage after a commercial break to announce who was going home tonight.

Hot Seat Tonight: Matt Giraud, Michael Sarver, Scott MacIntyre

Ryan told Scott that he was safe first.  The drama built as Ryan announced that Michael Sarver was eliminated (to no surprise).

ELIMINATED: MICHAEL SARVER
