Unlucky Willie Aames’ Suicide Attempt & Garage Sale

Eight is Enough” star Willie Aames is facing a serious economic crisis that has deeply affected his life and forced him to hold a garage sale at at his Olathe, Kan., home on Thursday. Willie sold everything he could, including furniture, autographed photos and his TV and movie memorabilia in order to get some cash to quickly pay off his debts.

The 48 year-old actor, who battled a drug and alcohol addiction in the past, confessed he tried to commit suicide after he had to declare bankruptcy and his wife of 22 years left him last year. Willie is so desperate he even let a camera crew film his garage sale for a TV documentary about his life.
