The View might have been Jennifer Farrell’s coming out party to millions of Americans, but fans of home design/makeover shows have been watching her for the last couple of years on A&E shows like  Merge, Find & Design, and currently on The Big Fix.

Television host and lifestyle expert Jennifer Farrell is a familiar face to audiences who have enjoyed her makeover shows and home furnishings. Her most popular venture has been The Jennifer Farrell Collection, featuring hundreds of furniture and décor pieces at nearly 1400 Big Lots stores nationwide. Jennifer became a household face traveling the country hosting the long-running A&E home improvement series “Find & Design,” and also hosted A&E’s “Point, Click, Design.” She now hosts “The Big Fix” for A&E, where she shares fun, easy design tips.

Prior to joining A&E, Jennifer was best known for her three exciting seasons as co-host and designer for Lifetime Television’s hit home makeover show, “Merge.” She enjoyed a great run with Fox Network for “Renovate My Family” as well as Fox Television’s “Design Intervention.” Jennifer was also a part of Style Network’s hit, “My Celebrity Home.” She has been featured on such shows as “Before and Afternoon Movies” for USA Network and “Outer Spaces” for HGTV, Jennifer’s own award-winning gardens having been highlighted on the network as well. This March, Jennifer makes a guest appearance on “The View” to chat with the ladies about home decorating.

While enjoying her globe-trotting television adventures, Jennifer continues working with select private clients through Jennifer Farrell Designs. Her signature style balances an inventive flair for the theatric with a sense of cozy comfort to create inspired living.

Farrell is a graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago.  She came to Los Angeles as an actress but quickly became one of Hollywood’s youngest film producers.  She has also written several screenplays that have been purchased for development.

Her popularity has even crossed over into pop culture as a band recently popped up on MySpace (listen at your own risk) with the name ‘Jennifer Farrell Collection.’  It should also be noted that the band is unsigned and ‘in need of gigs.’  Perhaps they are just in need of the actual J-Farrell to either manage or better yet sing and play instruments for them.

Jennifer is one of the most talented and creative women I have spent time around. She is a close family friend and was even a part of the remote and secretive Bump wedding a few years ago.  Her resume is rather extensive, especially for an ex-cruise boat entertainer (yes, she can sing and dance), but she is just now hitting her stride with her own design collection, new TV show, and appearance on The View.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was finally granted permission by dear mommy Tish and daddy Billy Ray to get a tattoo. Not just any tattoo but one with the initials of her much older boyfriend, Justin Gaston.

Miley went to great lengths to assure her parents the tattoo could be easily removed in the future. That should be a sign and a reason for Miley not to get it – she is already thinking it might have to be removed!

“When Miley heard about Infinitink, she began badgering her parents,” a Cyrus family insider reveals in the March 16 edition of Star Magazine. “Miley explained that if she ever wants her tat removed, it will come off faster and less painful.”

I don’t know maybe I’m very old-fashioned but sixteen is a bit too young to get a tattoo. Besides why would Miley want to start ruining her illegally hot body with graffiti’s?? JG isn’t exactly a work of art for any tattoo artist.

Swedish-Canadian Malin Akerman is a struggling actress that got the opportunity of her career when she got the role as Silk Spectre II in the much anticipated upcoming film adaptation of Watchmen.

The 30 year-old model/ actress named Watchmen‘s sexiest superhero took off her clothes for the latest issue of Maxim Magazine (April 2009). Malin isn’t a girl of many words but she dropped a couple of F-bombs when talking about her superhero costume. Here are some excerpts of Malin Akerman’s Maxim Magazine interview:

In the film your character has a sex scene with another hero, who, well-
Needs to wear a mask to get it up.

Yes. we’re guessing you didn’t draw on any real-life experiences for that scene.
You’re guessing? Do you want an answer?

A guy asked to wear a mask with you?!
No, but there have been men who enjoy you leaving your high-heeled shoes on, perhaps.

What did you think the first time they showed you your costume?
I thought it was really f*cking hot. Then I tried it on and I thought it was really f*cking uncomfortable. And the smell? When you take it off, it’s like a human condom.

The L.A. County District Attorney charged Chris Brown with two felonies: assault and making a criminal threat. The latest can be punishable by up to nine years in prison since there were visible injuries.

Chris Brown, as a big coward he is, didn’t show up this morning and was arraigned for later today at 3:30pm. Waiting for him are a frenzy of photographers – no one wants to miss this freak show!

Everybody’s wondering what really happened in the car that horrible night when Chris Brown allegedly beat up and threatened to kill his girlfriend Rihanna. TMZ has just published the shocking details of the assault that were obtained from LAPD detectives’ notes.

According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes.

Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.” Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”

According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness.

This is the second leak in this case since Rihanna’s horrific injuries photo appeared and some heads are going to roll in LAPD. Does it put more pressure on the case? Yes, but will Rihanna testify against Chris?

Chris and Rihanna are supposedly back together and they might have even tied the knot over the weekend. In my opinion this story is just starting to smell bad. Where is Rihanna’s father to keep her away from the monster? Rihanna is just setting a really bad example for girls and women out there who are victims of abuse.

Reality sometimes is stranger than fiction!! Or that is what “The Bachelor” executive producer, Mike Fleiss, wants us to believe in. According to Fleiss, Jason Mesnick‘s change of heart was unexpected and the producers had absolutely no influence in the selection.

“The great thing about unscripted television is that it’s unpredictable, and that’s what this was,” he said of Mesnick’s decision to let Rycroft go and rekindle his romance with Malaney. “It caught us off guard. It caught the viewers off guard.”

Jason proposed to Melissa Rycroft but changed his mind six weeks later at the “After the Final Rose” special. Jason dumped Melissa for runner up Molly Malaney. Jason Mesnick, a 32-year-old single dad from Seattle, is a really confused guy but nonetheless he tried to explain his choice and why he did it on camera to Jimmy Kimmel (watch video here>>).

Actress Jennifer Aniston confessed she tried Botox injections to remove some wrinkles here and there but she didn’t like how uncomfortable it felt. I believe Jennifer should have thought that in her line of work losing her natural expression can totally destroy her career… or turn her into Keanu Reeves!

Jennifer says: “I tried Botox once and it was really not good for me. I felt like I had a weight on my head. I think it makes women look older. Harder. The warmth in their faces goes away. You see women and you know they’re not young, but you can’t tell how old they are. That’s what stopped me.”

You can call me old-fashioned but there’s nothing like aging naturally, no matter how wrinkled you might get! Maybe I’ll change my mind when I hit the thirties! Oh, Oh!

It is not easy being Miley Cyrus! In her first autobiography titled “Miles To Go“, Miley Cyrus makes some revelations that might seem a bit irrelevant for all of us who have already lived all these things and just want to forget about it, but for some kids out there it might make a difference.

Miley reveals she was a victim of bullying at school by some big and mean girls, who were probably just too jealous of her and who she calls ‘The Anti-Miley Club’. Finally when Miley saw herself in a dead end, she stood up for herself.

Miley revealed: “The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm.”
The singer-and-actress – who was once locked in a bathroom by her tormentors – says they even challenged her to a fight, which had to be halted by the school principal.

She explained: “Three girls strutted up and stood towering over me. My stomach churned. I clutched my grilled cheese sandwich like it was the hand of my best friend. It pretty much was my best friend those days. I was done for.

“They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I stood up, still a foot shorter then they were, and said, ‘What’s your problem? What did I ever do to you?’”

Miley might seem way too young to write an autobiography but she does have a lot to say. I would especially recommend teenagers to read it so maybe they won’t feel so alone in this world. Amongst other things Miley gives a very passionate description of her relationship with Nick Jonas, who she claims to be her first love and calls Prince Charming.

Actress Katie Holmes has lost a lot of weight therefore rumored to be going through a Scientology vitamin detox. Something absolutely crazy that was supposed to clean her body and spirit but Katie has a simpler explanation for it.

Katie says: “My metabolism was in full gear the whole time. I lose weight fast when I’m working so hard. It doesn’t matter how much I eat, I just get thin. It’s not the worst problem in the word to have, though, now is it?”

Although Katie as a working mom has double the work, it was expected for her to gain some healthy weight after her exhausting debut on Broadway with the play “All My Sons“. We still think Tom Cruise is wearing her out! Katie looks like an old married lady, a far cry from her flamboyant younger self in “Dawson’s Creek“.
