Singer Rihanna, who was a victim of domestic violence, decided to tattoo a handgun on her body. This is certainly not the kind of attention Rihanna wants right now – what the heck was she thinking??

The tattoo artist BangBang initially drew two guns on top of her arms (photo below) but Rihanna worried with her Cover Girl contract decided against it and instead did it across her ribcage. The shocking photos were posted on BangBang’s website.

BangBang wrote on his website: ‘I really wanted to put it here [on her arms]… She loved ‘em. But, Cover Girl wouldn’t have liked it much… and they pay the bills!’

I hope Rihanna can claim temporary insanity later. This is just wrong!! Why would such a beautiful woman ruin her body with a tattoo of a gun?? It’s distasteful and another way to glamourize violence… considering her recent history, I say it’s just shocking!

Oops!! Britney Spears did it again!! This time the pop princess knew exactly what she was doing. During the performance of “Do Something”, Britney shouts ‘Merry Christmas’ (:50) and the crowd goes wild at her Circus concert in Washington, DC.

Brit is such a doll! She just loves to give us something to talk about. You can’t blame Brit for being tired of lip-synching her way through her concerts and sending out a special messages to her fans. First her thingy was hanging out now it’s Christmas! Luvs IT!!

Live blog of tonight’s ‘Motown’ week on American Idol. R&B legend Smokey Robinson is the mentor for Motown week. Smokey has written over 4,000 songs and is most famous for ‘Tears of the Clown.’

He Motown founder Barry Gordy told him early on, “We’re not going to make black music. We are going to make music for everyone.”

Matt Giraud – ‘Let’s Get It On‘ – He stated out behind the piano but quickly rose to his feet to belt out this Marvin Gaye classic. His voice is perfectly suited for Marvin and all of the great R&B singers. Matt is going to be a contender and got tonight’s show off to a great start. He even had Marvin’s trademark dance moves down perfectly and had the women in attendance craving more. His voice is a lot more skilled than even Justin Timberlake. Grade: A+

Kris Allen – ‘How Sweet It Is‘ – He blew Smokey Robinson away in the mentor session. He about blew Smokey’s hair plugs out. Kris is very smooth, talented, smart, charming and did a good job going with the second Marvin Gaye song of the night. If Kris were single he would give John Mayer a run for all of the cougars in Hollywood. Very good night for Kris. Grade: A

Scott MacIntyre – ‘You Can’t Hurry Love‘ – He got a lot of help from the three backup singers that resembled The Supremes. Often they were overshadowing him and his shaky voice. It seems at times as if he is stretching his voice. Maybe he is really nervous, it’s just all his songs sound the same. I have been on several cruises and have heard better singers on almost every time. Bad song selection and bad performance! He is in real trouble this week. Grade: D-

Megan Joy – ‘For Once in My Life‘ – Oh me I am not sure what to say. She was extremely jagged, flat, and horrible. She was wearing a Katy Perry ‘fruit dress’ on crack that blended into her ink sleeve. She had the flu excuse last week, and she needs an even better excuse this week. Her dance moves are even more limited than Perry’s, which is scary. Randy said it was a “train wreck” but even the great Casey Jones would have hopped off this train half way through the performance. Everyone in America can agree that performance was bad so she might be in trouble, regardless of how cute she is. Grade: F

Anoop Desai – ‘Ooo Baby Baby‘ – He was brave enough to tackle one of Smokey’s songs with the Miracles. Anoop came out looking like a 14-year old Wayne Newton. It is hard to put my finger on this performance but every note has something like a bad after taste. I know it’s a slow song but it still seemed to lack energy. It was about as slow and boring as President Obama’s press conference last night. I think he is likely to make this cut this week but it could be close. Grade: C

Michael Sarver – ‘Ain’t Too Proud to Beg’ - This was almost as much fun to watch as Adam Lambert doing a country song last week, but Sarver did a better job than Lambert last week. I thought Sarver was very solid but not great throughout the song. He likely could be in the bottom three this week. He reminds me of Taylor Hicks jacked up on collard greens. Sarver has more soul than most country boys but it won’t be enough this week or to win this competition. Grade: C+

Lil Rounds – ‘Heat Wave‘ – This song was originally by Martha Reeves and The Vandals. I think everyone had huge expectations for Rounds this week that probably hurt her. This song, which is a classic, seemed a bit underneath her voice and didn’t give her a chance to really shine or have ‘a moment’ as the judges like to say. The performance was very copycat and not memorable. I was most amazed at how her hair has grown 8 inches since last week. On another sidenote Paula is nuts and is wearing a mirror ball ring tonight. Grade: B-

Adam Lambert – ‘Tears of a Clown‘ – He chose the classic Smokey Robinson staple to tackle. To be honest I didn’t recognize this cat when he came on stage tonight. I guess the tabloid reports of his expensive laser procedures on his skin and makeover might actually be true. He came out looking like a smooth, goth Chris Isaak. He was just as smooth as Isaak as well. He totally rocked it. He had the best stage setup of the night. A very nice and intimate acoustic set. He was very smooth, soft, delicate, and sweet on HIS version of ‘Tears of a Clown.’ I have not been a fan of him the past couple of weeks, but he was amazing tonight. It is his competition to lose at this point. A performance worthy of an iTunes download later on. Grade A+

Danny Gokey - ‘Get Ready‘ – Danny took this energetic song by The Temptations. He is perhaps the most solid performer week in and week out. He brings a ton of energy to the stage and is always well prepared. Far and away the best performance of the night by a youth pastor. He was at his best two weeks ago, but tonight was better than last week in my opinion. He is one of four contestants that can win this competition. He is very mature and would do a good job with the public and industry if he did win. Simon thought it was cheesey but I think he resonates well with most of America. He seems like too nice a guy to win it all though. Grade B+

Allison Iraheta – ‘Papa Was a Rolling Stone‘ – One of the best songs from The Temptations. Very nasty back story on this song between the writers and one of the members of The Temptations if I remember correctly. Google it sometime if you are bored or watch the biopic. This chick is brain-numbing mature vocally and doesn’t look like a 16-year old either. She was easily the best female tonight. She did a cat scat near the start of the song tonight that was off the hook. She is easily the most original contestant this side of Adam Lambert. This was her signature song of the contestant and worthy of an iTunes download. Only two songs tonight that I would certifiy as downloadable. The other being Lambert’s. She has chance of winning this if she can keep it together and if America doesn’t hold her age against her. Grade: A+

Actress Aasha Davis, who has recurring roles on “Night Lights” and “Grey’s Anatomy”, reported her sister, Lesley Herring (46) missing since February 8 after a heated fight with her husband, Lyle Herring.

Detective Chris Gable investigating the case says the woman’s husband hasn’t been really helpful, which makes him looks suspicious. In a press conference, Lyle has denied his involvement in his wife’s disappearance.

“I would describe his cooperation as fragmented and less than helpful, not someone I would expect as a grieving husband,” Gable said.

Lyle Herring appealed for his wife to come home. “Please give us a call,” he said. “Let us know what’s going on. We have a lot to talk to about.”

It has been six weeks since Lesley disappeared and her sister Aasha thinks something awful happened to her: “She is a creature of habit,” Davis said at the news conference, “and this is why her disappearance is so alarming to us.”

We have reported Angelina Jolie caught Brad Pitt in a compromising position with one of their nannies, which we believe might have ended up with a wild sex session. This week Brangelina hit the tabloid covers again and the story is basically the same but taken to the extreme.

According to Star and InTouch Magazine, Angelina is barely talking to the father of her children, kicked him out of the bedroom and won’t let him anywhere near her, screaming “Don’t touch me!”.

“Angie is still very angry over the nanny thing,” an insider tells Star. “Right now, the separate bedrooms arrangement seems to be the best thing for them. Brad doesn’t want to face her cold fury every night.”

It appears things at the Jolie-Pitt household got so bad even Angie’s brother, James Haven, has reportedly move in to try to stop the imminent breakup between them. Do you believe Angie and Brad are ready to call it quits??

“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star looks thinner and with smoother and lighter limbs. This isn’t much of a surprise since we already knew celebrities get the Photoshop treatment before they hit the newsstands. I think it’s admirable Kim still looks absolutely gorgeous even in the untouched version.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has spoken exclusively for E! News and asked for people to believe in her and stop spreading rumors or degrading her image in gossip blogs and magazines. Lindsay affirms she doesn’t drink, doesn’t do drugs and doesn’t lie!

“I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs and I don’t lie. I love to act and write and be creative and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it.” – Lindsay confesses.

The Mean Girls star just wants to forget about the past and focus on the future. That means people need to stop talking and speculating about her love life because the rumors are damaging her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson and career.

Lindsay says: “My past is my past and it’s been a long one, but I’m growing more and learning more day by day. I’m not the same person and I don’t make the same mistakes. I move forward and I change. Life’s too short not to. If people would just leave my personal life alone — because it’s really not that interesting — then I could land a great role. But all the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting.”

“They need to stop saying we’re fighting. People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I’m really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work and the only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal.”

Lindsay just wants to be able to work and focus on her career instead of worrying about what people say and write about her. The 22 year-old has big dreams she would like to achieve like doing good movies, writing, fashion…

Lindsay adds, “I just want to live the dream that I’ve worked so hard for since I was four years old. I’ve been through a lot in my life. And there are many things I’d like to do to let people know that they just have to be strong.”

“I’d like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies/shows/videos, design clothes, make music, write books, etc. It’s all possible if people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be.”

Maybe Lindsay would be able to succeed if she could just concentrate on doing one thing at a time and doing it well. We don’t want to judge her but it seems like she is always traveling and going to numerous parties, which of course doesn’t leave her much time to write, produce, design or act. We hope Lindsay can finally find some peace of mind and get on the right track!!
