Whiney Jay Cutler Traded to Chicago Bears

Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, who had been pouting since early last month after new head coach Josh McDaniels wanted to replace him, has been traded by the Broncos to the Chicago Bears.

The Bears sent their QB Kyle Orton along with two 2009 first round draft picks and a third round pick to the Broncos to acquire the talented Cutler.

The Broncos get the Bears’ top pick in this year’s draft, which is No. 18 overall, and Chicago’s first-round draft pick in 2010 along with a third-round selection this year (No. 84 overall). Denver also gave up a fifth-rounder this year.

It seems like a lot of potential talent to trade for a prima donna football player.  If Cutler plays up to his talent then the move will be huge for the Bears.

Cutler played his college football at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.  He was the 11th overall pick by the Broncos in the 2006 NFL draft.
