Adam Lambert, who seems to be everyone’s favorite to win the eighth season of American Idol, came out of the closet… not literally… but these very compromising photos of Adam passionally kissing a guy and dressing as a woman have been floating around the internet.
Rumors say there is also some sort of x-rated video classified as gay porn starring Adam and this is driving the “Idol” producers insane. The Fox network, which owns the “American Idol”, declined to comment on Adam’s sexual orientation and neither the contestant is willing to speak about it. Will Adam Lambert’s future in the talent show be compromised by such revelation?

well to start i love adam and think he has a wonderful voice and some awesome talent, as for him being in drag or for that matter being gay, let me say i am gay and think that if he has confidence in himself, then what does it matter if he’s gay or not? The point is that he has talent and is a wonderful person. i will continue to vote for him and wish him the very best of luck because i know he is going alot of places in his life.

Read my other comments on the Adam Lambert debacle. It sickens me to see two men holding each others balls and licking each others tonsils while wearing makeup is now considered normal. This is what this world has resorted to FlagOrama! So promoting this deviant lifestyle to millions of children is acceptable? If you are really gay….I am trying to believe that all those shots of you kissing other men, and all those photos of you in drag are just part of your theatrical shtick. I really don’t believe you are gay. I think you are just putting on a show. I hope you are not really gay.
You are a great performer and vocalist and God has given you gifts to share with the world that others don’t have, but if you are really gay, you should NOT be the next American Idol. That would be a very poor example for confused kids. If you are gay and you become the next idol they are going to think your choice of orientation is okay. And it is not okay to let everyone think that it is okay to choose to sleep with a man if you are a man.
What you do behind closed doors is your business, but kids should not be seeing this kind of stuff and think it’s okay. Just like men and women should not be acting innapropriately in public. They should leave all that for the privacy of their bedroom.
The pose that is shown of you in drag with open legs wide is just such a horrible picture. I know that someday you will look back and regret it. Many have. Sex was not made to be pornography… it was made to be a beautiful act to be shared between a man and a woman who are in love.
I feel for you Adam. We all have our demons. There is not one righteous, not one. I am not blaming you or attacking you because I care for you. But I have been in a similar place like yours. You can always fix your past but it is very difficult.
If you ever have children of your own, do you want them to see those erotic porno pictures of you? I think not. Trust me you won’t want that! When we are young we think the world is ours, and we can do whatever we want whenever we want. But when we get on in age, we realize things that we did and should have not done, stay with us until we die, even if we rectify them during our lifetime. We can look back, forgive ourselves, but it is very hard to forget when we feel in our old age “if only I could turn back the clock”.
I just wish you the best Adam. And I hope for the children’s sake that you are not the next American Idol if you are really a drag queen. This all means that the nice guy you are showing on AI is not truly you. It means you are being dishonest. It means that you cannot be trusted.
But if you are an actor and these are just roles you are playing, (although I still think they are not the greatest since you are such a beautiful and talented young man and could be doing other meaningful things with your life ) then it would not be so bad.
Danny Okee is not as talented as you, let’s say, but his genuineness and heart comes through, every time he is on stage. Learn from him. He is a child of God who is clear on his role. You are also a child of God who just may not be clear on what road God wants you to take.
I hope you are not terribly disgusted and offended with my honesty. I know I will get alot of hate mail from alot of your fans, and that’s okay. I have a granddaughter who has a great deal of talent and wants to be a performer. I just don’t want her to think it’s okay to be gay. There is another way Adam. I know someday you will find that way.
Just remember: You have to be honest and genuine in front of all these millions of people that are seeing you. If all those pornographic pictures that say are you, are really you…then you are not being an honest man. If the sweet, humble, accommodating, innocent “yes, thank you Simon” face you show on American Idol is really a put on, and is not really you, then the least you can do is let the judges know who you really are.

As for Adam Lambert; he is the best performer to appear on American Idol; professional or contestant; in the years I have been watching. The only tragedy about Adam winning will be having to wait over a year to watch his solo tour. Adam is the first contestant I have wanted to hear sing again after the show was over. He has a gift vocally, and for reinterpreting previously recorded songs - something which can be more difficult than creating original music.

My point: Gay people are not bad examples for our young people simply because they are gay. African Americans are not horrible because they are black.
Gays do not choose to be gay anymore than heteros chose to be hetero, or blacks choose to be black. We are born as we are meant to be: skin color or sexual orientation. Our only choice is how we live our lives and some of us are better examples than others.
Adam Lambert is the epitome of what we can only hope our younger generation will aspire to–sexual orientation aside. He demonstrates grace, humbleness, generosity, intelligence, and, yes, talent.

Adam has talent, no doubt, so why does he need to do photo shoots that offend some people? He could be a “BIG STAR” with just his God-given talent! He apparently has some deep-rooted problems to think he has to dress like a female and do make-out sessions with other men. Religious values are not American values. He is not flaunting his sexuality, he is living his life. Is it flaunting your sexuality when a man kisses a women, when i man dresses “manly”, when a women dressing “feminine”…no. It is dressing the way in which you are, or the way the society tells you you should dress. Kissing someone of the same sex and porn are not the same thing. Adam is a good singer, but Danny was better and he’s gone. Chris is better because he not only sings, but plays the guitar and the piano, and is genuine.
Adam is an okay guy, but if Adam wins, trust me world, American Idol will never be the same again.
And what’s with his tongue? It is white white white. And does he have to stick it out so far? A professional singer knows that to get higher notes, the tongue sits curved behind the front lower teeth. I think Adam needs to get some professional voice coaching.
Anyone can screech if one tries hard enough and practices hard enough. But not anyone can sing. A good singer barely uses his facial muscles. A good singer uses his diaphragmatic muscles, his posture, balance, relaxation, inner mouth, etc. You do not need to scream and show your tonsils to the world.

What the Bible Says About… Homosexuality
Homosexuality continues to make headlines on a daily basis. There is a major movement today to promote homosexuality as a valid lifestyle choice, and it has even become a “hot potato” subject in politics and in schools today. It is likely that you probably know at least one person that struggles with homosexuality, and as a Christian you need to know what the Bible says about the lifestyle choice.
Leviticus 18:22 – “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” (NIV)
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” (NIV)
Is it a “Choice?”
Gay rights activists have spent many years trying to tell people that homosexuals are born that way. The three main studies that activists use to claim the biological nature of homosexuality have serious methodological flaws, but the media has latched onto the simplified results.
If people were born to be homosexual would God have considered it a sin? In Leviticus, many interpret the scripture to mean God called for homosexuals to be killed for their sins. A loving God would not create homosexuals only to have them killed for a behavior He created. In Genesis, Eve was created to be a companion for Adam and many interpret from those verses that marriage is a union between a man and a woman.
Genesis 2:24 – “For this reason a man will leave his father and other and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” (NIV)
Leviticus 20:13 – “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” (NIV)
Still, even if someone believes homosexuality is something a person is born with, most Christians adhere to the concept that pre-marital sex is a sin. Simply, whether it is a homosexual or heterosexual relationship, the ideal is that Christian teens should be waiting until marriage to have sex.
Romans 1:24-25 – “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator – who is forever praised. Amen.” (NIV)
What About My Homosexual Friends?
Many homosexuals are angry or fearful of Christians, because they have been persecuted over the years, and that is a valid concern. Even if you believe that your homosexual friends have sinned, it does not mean you should suddenly give up on them. There is a common saying in the church of “Love the sinner, hate the sin.” We are all sinners in one way or another.
There are also those that believe homosexuals, even those that struggle with their sexual orientation, can be forgiven. The only unforgivable sin, according to the Bible, is to not believe in Jesus as God’s one and only son (John 3:18).
Therefore, your homosexual friends can use your guidance and love rather than your judgement
However, it is important for you to understand that the answer to homosexuality is not to convert your friend to heterosexuality, but to guide your friends toward God. Many people think that dating or marriage is the answer to all the homosexual’s problems, but the opposite of homosexuality is not heterosexuality, it is holiness. It is not about creating an attraction to members of the opposite sex, but forming a relationship with God. He will take care of the rest. Plus, there are churches out there that will welcome your friend with open arms. It’s about showing God’s love.
If your friend does not necessarily turn to God right away, be patient and be an example of Christ. Remember that you are there to plant the seeds. It is God who will make those seeds grow.

1 Corinthians 3:6 – “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.” (NIV)

However,this is a web site where you talk about who is the next american idol, not practice your preaching. i am a straight christian female, i was raised in the church but i do not believe in condemning people because of their sexual orientation. that is not our job, Its God’s. so dont try to be God, ok? he is pretty good at his job.

Adam has a true talent and weither or not he wins American Idol, he will go on to have a great career. if anyone will refuse to vote for him or buy his music because of his sexual orientation, then they are severely prejudiced and will have to deal with God about that on judgement day.

If you are a true Christian then you would know that God loves the sinner but not the sin. I am not here to preach. I am far from being in a preacher. My favorites were Danny and Alison. So at this point I don’t care who the winner is as long as they are showing their true self to America. But Chris is a very talented young man.
And Charity, I disagree with you about this being a place where you only talk about the next American Idol. What do you mean by that? That we choose whether someone is a good singer or not, and that’s it?
When you went to school, in your science class, assuming you went to a traditional school, didn’t you have to prove why and how an experiment occurred. It was not just “let’s stick the frog in the pan and let’s see what happens”, right? You had to come up with what you thought would happen before it happened, right?
That’s kind of the same theory here. The Bible says that we need to be prepared to answer to anyone that asks why we have the faith that we have.
You know Charity. I don’t know why things are the way they are. I don’t know why Adam has not come out and defended himself. Maybe the network is telling him to ignore it all. Or maybe he doesn’t know how to begin to defend himself, or he probably just doesn’t give a hoot. He feels he’s got a great chance of winning.
And if he wins, it IS God’s will anyway. I am very excited about the results this week. If he wins I will be happy for him. Because there is a reason for everything.
