Legendary Phillies Voice Harry Kalas Dies

Great Voice Harry Kalas Dies

Harry Kalas, the legendary play-by-play announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies since 1971, has passed away at the age of 73.  Before that, Kalas, was an announcer for the Houston Astros.

Kalas was best known for his “Outta Here!” call and also for being the voice of NFL Films since it’s inception.  One would also recognize his voice from the NFL Chunky Soup commercials.
