Miss California Carrie Prejean Is Michael Phelps’ Girlfriend (Photos)
The controversial Miss California/Miss USA 2009 first runner-up, Carrie Prejean, is dating record Olympic medalist Michael Phelps. Carrie’s grandmother, Jeanette Coppolla, has confirmed Carrie is “casually” dating and is aware of Michael’s womanizer reputation.
“Carrie and Michael have been out to baseball games and lunch,” Coppolla said. “He always calls her when he is in town and they go out.”
“Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn’t serious about being in a relationship with him,” she added. “He’s a nice guy and she likes him.”

Let me understand this. You have no photos of the two of them together. Neither one has said they are dating each other. No one has seen them together. They both are currently in other relationships. But her grandmother says they went to a baseball game last year and somehow they are boyfriend/girlfriend. That’s some great reporting.
