Actress Cloris Leachman wears a special red cabbage and leafy greens gown for the latest PETA ad with the slogan “Let Vegetarianism Grow On You.” The 82 year-old actress, who became a vegetarian more than 50 years ago, wants to prove going vegetarian will let you age gracefully and healthily.
Basically Cloris wants us to turn vegetarian NOW: “Start learning about it. It doesn’t have to be all of a sudden or a great huge education, but it’s sort of a little journey that you make all your life.”
The lady is looking great for her age but we need to take a moment and thank PETA for not letting Cloris go naked. I’m sure she would because grandma is nuts! Love her!

Actress Keira Knightley stars in a new campaign against domestic violence set to debut in theaters on April 6. In the two minute PSA directed by Joe Wright, Keira is violently beaten and kicked by a man. It seems like the Chris Brown and Rihanna’s abuse scandal made people talk about domestic violence and we hope it might lead abused women to get some help.
The “Atonement” star didn’t hesitate to volunteer for this campaign for Women’s Aid: “While domestic violence exists in every section of society we rarely hear about it. Domestic violence affects one in four women at some point in their lifetime and kills two women every week.”

Tonight was the end of the road for one unlucky contestant on American Idol. Last night I had predicted that it would likely be Megan Joy or Matt Giraud facing elimination tonight. So who did it end up being? Well first let’s get into a few highlights from tonight’s show before we learn who was sent packing.
The show started with the remaining eight Idol contestants singing the Journey song ‘Don’t Stop Believing.’ The group was impressive with this classic rock song of yesteryear.
Next we were treated to last years Idol winner David Cook singing his new single ‘Come Back to Me.’ Two hot blondes then presented Cook with a platinum record for his debut album that has now sold over a million copies.
Ryan Seacrest, at this point, had given us the bottom three for tonight.
The bottom three tonight were Megan Joy, Allison Iraheta, and Anoop Desai.
Iraheta is extremely talented so I didn’t believe she would be going home tonight. So in my mind, that left Anoop and Meg. Anoop wasn’t great last night, but he wasn’t horrible either. On the other hand Megan was beyond horrible.
Before we found out the winner, the mysterious and eccentric Lady GaGa performed her #1 hit single ‘Poker Face.’ I guess it is a must now for female entertainers to perform in fishnet stockings (see Britney, Madonna, and now Lady GaGa). GaGa is GooGoo and talented, but I honestly couldn’t tell if she was actually singing or lip synching. Either way she put on a great performance.
Finally, after all of the pop and fireworks ended, Ryan was back on stage to tell us who was going home tonight. The first to be sent to safety was Allison Iraheta. This left Anoop and Megan on stage. Seacrest wasted no time in telling us that Megan Joy was the low vote getter and kicked off the show.
Judge Simon Cowell told Megan before she sang that the judges would not use their save to keep her for next week. Megan then gave one of the more odd performances ever on Idol in a repeat performance singing ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low.’ She appeared drunk, crazy, and mental throughout the entire performance. She reminded me of the drunk sorority girls attempting to sing karaoke at a mixer back in college. Maybe Megan is just that goofy by nature. She came across as being really immature though. Her second performance of the song was even worse than her first last night and that is saying a lot.

We probably wouldn’t even have noticed Mark Ballas’ boner “little” problem if the “Dancing With The Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba hadn’t made a sneaky comment about his shorts and then looked really embarrassed after Shawn Johnson and Mark’s performance on Monday!
And I also noticed how Mark always hides behind Shawn… that must be illegal! Men wearing short shorts should be a felony: first, it looks so gay and second, it just doesn’t hide your indecencies. Hilarious and completely embarrassing!
